I've not actually dined in. I work downtown close and their take out menu is really good and much more reasonable than the dine in prices. I've tried the chicken wrap, hamburger and gyro. All very good. They come with a good portion of hand cut truffle fries or opt for a salad or soup. I tried the soup and loved it. You can order online and schedule to pick it up. I normally walk somewhere for lunch so just a short walk and take it back to the office. I will say I was disappointed with 1 order. When ordering a bottled water, the menu clearly says Dasani water. What I received was a cheap generic city bottled water. I like Dasani over other brands and why I ordered water. Needless to say I haven't ordered water since. Overall I like the food and will continue to order online for lunch.
I was in Kansas City for a convention and was looking for some French cuisine for dinner. Unfortunately I got to Kansas City late and saw this restaurant was open until 9 and I didn't get there until 8:30. The French onion soup was the highlight for me. The bolognese sat in the window for at least 10 minutes while the server took dessert orders from a large party. The bolognese was ok, nothing spectacular. Now it was after closing, and the server asked about desserts. I asked his recommendations and went with his recommendation for the blueberry bread pudding. 10 minutes later, after cashing out the large group, he returns to ask me if I was ready for the check or would like to order dessert. He was nice but could just tell he was ready to go as it was now almost 9:30. I decided I had had enough and was ready to go. I asked for the check without reminding him I had already ordered dessert. It's what I get for going right before close but I never felt like I was ever wanted as a patron. I will never go back so I'll never find out if the blueberry bread pudding was any good but there are too many restaurants in the vicinity to risk this restaurant again.
We ate on a Saturday night and the restaurant was pretty empty. Several things on the menu were not available to order which should have been told to us when we were seated. Our waiter was very rude and would walk away when we were still in the middle of ordering. We had to send the rib-eye back as it was very over cooked. The vegetables were not fresh. They looked like they had been frozen and heated in a microwave. The bolognese was the worst I have ever had. Had zero flavor and the pasta was over cooked and mushy. For drinks, they only serve 3 beers and a handful of simple cocktails. Not worth the price at all. I am so surprised this place has 4 stars.

Hidden gem! This place is absolutely amazing. Upscale dining with reasonable prices and great service. Get the ribeye and the mussels. A+
Absolutely an Amazing evening with spectacular food and service on Valentine’s Day!
This restaurant was good. I loved that we didn't have to walk outside but we could park in the garage and go straight to the restaurant. The service, food and atmosphere were good. I was disappointed, however, because I had $16 to use on my KC Originals card and we were told that Charisse is no longer a member even though they are still listed as participating. This is the reason for only 3 out of 5. I was also disappointed that the happy hour drink all included vodka which I do not like.
Atmosphere was so relaxing, food was delicious, and service was wonderful.
