THE best brewery in town. I'm from Los Angles and every time I'm in KC this is always one of my first stops. The beer is incredible, always something new. Hang for far too long every time not only because of the beers but the ambiance and laid back vibe! Wait staff is amazing and have had the pleasure of meeting the owner, great guy and fam. Love this place!
Favorite brewery atmosphere and vibe in Kansas City metro! Lots of natural light, lounge chairs, plants, and beer! Relaxed, chill, fun, and enjoyable atmosphere and service. I really enjoy majority of their beer and flavor. Casual Animal brewery is really set apart from other breweries with their overall aesthetic and branding. Board games and shuffle board is available to play. Great outdoor patio as well.
We have been here two times and it has a great kicked back..laid back vibe about the place. There are no tvs..this is a place where you bring a friend or a group of friends and talk, enjoy each other's company. You can play darts, shuffleboard or board games but for me, it is all about relaxing and enjoying some really good beers. There were for of us and we all tried beer flights and we liked every single one. Chaos Monkey might be my favorite.
Really cool space! It was very open with lots of plants which I love. They also allow dogs and that was fun although a little loud at times. It’s a great space to hang, play games, and enjoy a drink. We didn’t get any, but there were tacos and some snacks available too. My husband and I are from out of town and wanted to hit up a handful of breweries, so we shared a flight. Overall, the beers were good, but I wasn’t crazy about any of them.
LOVE THIS PLACE. So cozy and cute inside with lots of plants, string lights and lounging. The people are awesome and beer is great! They have board games you can play with friends and are dog friendly.Can’t wait to come back!
So far this place has the best atmosphere of any brewery I've been to in KC. It's a very large space so full of plants you can practically feel the extra oxygen purifying your blood. The animal theme is cool, it's dog friendly, they've got free darts and shuffleboard, a few screens, plenty of beers, build your own flights, and so on. If this place didn't have such a happening atmosphere I might only be leaving four stars. Everything we had was fine, but... while they have a really diverse variety of beers that probably appeal to a wide variety of people, many were just good and didn't have the wow factor some other local breweries have in their beers. I think their brewmasters have a little work to do but I think they'll improve over time. One day I went in here and it was charmingly beautiful and quiet inside. Another time I went it was so loud I was embarrassed to have brought my mother there. There were so many people there yelling that we had to yell at each other to hear. That's not the fault of the business... just be forewarned, it can get pretty wild inside when it's busy. Those free darts tho!
This brewery has such a cool vibe! The space or giant and they have darts and a shuffleboard table. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is because I didn’t think their beer was amazing.
Excellent space and beer - nicest overall that I've seen on Brewer's Alley. Wide range, mostly on the easily palatable end of the beverage range. Think hard seltzer, hazy IPA, ice cream ale. Really pleasant, especially with the greenery - worth a visit.
Modern Rustic space with no shortage of live plants, bar games, and of course amazing beer! The have an amazing graphic designer and some of the best logos I’ve ever seen. I’m no stranger to breweries and I would highly recommend this place as one of the best I’ve ever been to.
I always love seeing places that animals are welcome. This was a fun atmosphere, lots of age groups, large open space, games, and a unique selection of brews. I enjoyed the seltzer option but also loved the IPL.
