Visited 3/25/22. Mocha tastes watered down, no coffee flavor and little chocolate flavor. Friendly employees. The cafe feels really old like going in a Cafe in the southern town I grew up in in the 70's. I'm not saying that is bad. It's just the vibe. If you want to leave a tip on your credit card be sure and tell them before running the card. They ask that you limit your stay to one hour so more people have an opportunity to get seating.
Lovely little spot for coffee. Menu doesn't have as many options as I would like and I really needed an outlet for my laptop and couldn't get to one, but otherwise I would definitely go back.
Broadway definitely wakes me up right! Used to be a daily adventure when I was in my teens and 20's and now in my 30's it just feels like a comfortable place to meet friends and catch up when we can. I am glad that they are still here and survived the pandemic. It is a hometown staple in my book. The coffee cake is fabulous and the coffee is tasty. I do take cream and sugar and the barista added it perfectly which is wild to me... because I'm pretty picky when it comes to others dressing up my coffee haha it's like he read my mind!
Easily one of my favorite coffee shops, in KC and ever. The staff are always so nice and inviting. And the customers who frequent the shop are the same. There’s no place I’d rather spend a morning drinking coffee than Broadway Cafe!
For a dark coffee drinker the House Blend forever hit the spot for me. Went back to buy a bag after having a cup. Friendliest employees of all Kansas City. They actually appear happy and enjoy working together.
Cute little space. Definitely a COFFEE Shop. I mistakenly thought it would be a restaurant when agreeing to meet a friend. But I can eat normal food anywhere, this was delightful!!
Yummy coffee, cute shop. They have Irish Cream syrup which is my favorite and bomb Brown Butter Rice Crispy Treats.
Holy cow, best cold brew I've ever had by a mile. Great service, too. These guys rule. Make sure you tip them well to support them during the pandemic.
Nice coffee, cool place to study and they have snacks too. Normal prices for coffee shops.
Broadway Cafe has been my favorite coffee place since 1996. It is always good. The staff are awesome. You all are the best, bar none.
