They had 1 person doing everything.. seating, bar tending, serving, etc. I went for a Sunday brunch and there were very few brunch options. The food we did order was average at best.
Food was very good but extremely pricey. They are short staffed which we understand but they should take fewer customers because everything was extremely slow (but our server was super nice/good despite being stretched thin). They wouldnât let us get happy hour items/prices in the dining room even though they would not let us sit at the bar (there were plenty of seats there but they said the bartender was too busy).
We visited Brio at 11am on a Sunday and were the only table for about 30 minutes so it was very quiet, not sure how loud it is when the restaurant is full. We had French Toast from the brunch menu as well as a flatbread and the Lobster Fettucine, all were very good and the portion sizes were good. Our server was very nice and attentive and the decor of the restaurant matched the food/type of restaurant. Was very clean in the dining area as well as the restrooms. Will for sure visit again next time we are in KC.
Brio is a great Italian restaurant! We have been there several times and everything we have ordered has been delicious! Their bread and butter is delicious, but we would love a little olive oil for dipping. Our waitress said that donât do that.

Great atmosphere. Very nice restaurant. Food took a long time but wait staff was honest that they were under staffed in the kitchen. Pretty common these days.
There person up front (June or Jude) was incredibly helpful. All the staff was top notch.
Dylan was our entertaining and accommodating server. The next time we visit, we’ll ask for his table specifically, he was THAT good! The food was wonderful, the service was totally above the standard. This is and has always been my favorite restaurant in Kansas City
Food was good but waitress was not informative or was not a good server when serving our drinks she reached a crossed me to serve the next drink was not familiar with the menu and kept rushing us thru our meal.
Dinner and the wine choices were fabulous. We were celebrating our daughter passing her RN exam. Our waiter was very professional. Everything was perfect.
