The four of us shared a sampler platter. Lots of interesting unique flavors. Some were spicy and others not. We all enjoyed trying something different.
Delicious gastronomic delights! Interesting and varied menu options. We highly recommend the sampler, which includes a portion of everything on the menu. Amazing Gluten free and vegan options. Quaint, beautiful cafe. Friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. We highly recommend this jewel of KC!
Food that is definitely worth getting your hands dirty. I had never tried Ethiopian food but it was recommended to me through friends so I'm grateful to finally try and enjoy it. I loved that the meat options came with two vegetarian sides and that I could try as much of the menu as possible. I had the doro tibs with dinich and shimbra watts. The chicken was cooked well and tasted amazing along with the side dishes. It was a flavorful and fulfilling experience. I really enjoyed the food being cooked well and fast and the friendly service.

The food and service at Blue Nile was phenomenal. I got the vegan platter to share with my uncle and it was delicious and super filling. We were stuffed and weren’t able to finish the platter. The prices were extremely reasonable and it was a great place to visit. I drove an hour just to eat there and it was well worth it! Even with the price of gas!
My wife, son, and I ate here few days ago. We never had this kind of food before so we decided to be adventurous and try it out. We ordered the sampler platter because we couldn’t decide what to get. When the food got to us we were really excited because it looked and smelled so good. My son is two years old and kinda picky but he dug into it which surprised us. He loved the food and so did we. This was the best restaurant that we went to while we was on vacation in Kansas City. The staff was amazing and so welcoming as well.

I absolutely loved this place. Authentic Ethiopian food with the nicest service. This here is a vegetarian plate I made choosing 4 of their options. The chickpeas and lentils were from another worlds. Absolutely amazing. And the vegetables were incredible too! We are sooo coming back and tasting the rest!!It’s recommended 100%
I love this place. Service was great and food was great. I gave 4 stars only because it was kinda steamy in there and the smell permeated on my clothes and could smell for awhile, made me want to go home and shower again. The food is worth it though. I get the vegetarian sampler dish where you pick 4 different vegetarian dishes and they were all so good and plenty of food.
A wonderful and delicious experience. Thankful for the GF option, and a delicious sampler plate for 2 people. Cant wait to come back next time I am in KC.
