Ordered a half of a chicken the chicken was so small you would have to put the 4 pieces together it'll make one peace it was also old and very dry. Very very disappointed.with the prices so high why would you give people food like this. Very disturbing. ?
Decided to eat here after an arrowhead stadium tour. The restaurant did not seem busy which was to my benefit since I got my food quicker. I opted for the 2 meat combo (ribs/sausage) with beans and mac n cheese as sides. My only complaint about the meal is that the ribs were a little tough to get off the bone otherwise everything was excellent. I would definitely eat there again if my schedule allows it.
This was once my favorite place to get bbq but afterwards paying $51 for a sausage sandwich and a slab of ribs when I remember it used to be a lot more food. The sausage had no flavor just sauce on top. I ordered a slab and these look like baby back ribs. I understand prices are higher but be honest with your customers with what we're getting for our money.
As soon as you walk in your feet are going to stick to the floor. They put my ribs from probably yesterday in the microwave and burnt most of it so thank you for giving me charcoal. They're french fries was stuck in a paper bag and left there and then when I ordered fries, just gave me the bag of french fries that was cooked in oil that probably had never been cleaned. The whole time I was trying to eat there was a spider webs right next to me and now everyone in my family is having stomach issues. The staff did not seem terrible, but I will never ever spend my money there ever again. This was my first barbecue experience since moving to Missouri and I highly recommend to not go there..
Originally was going to eat at LC’s but they weren’t taking credit cards. The cashier was attentive and seemed to care we were there. The food didn’t take too long. Both sandwiches were good and the fries were great. They definitely have better fries than most of their competitors (I liked them better than 5 guys) The dining area seemed clean but most tables were out of paper towels/no napkins available. It’s definitely worth a return visit. Maybe there won’t be a wait on burnt ends but I understood being out as it was the daily special the day I went.
WENT THERE FOR THE FIRST TIME SUNDAY, THE CASHIER COULD HAVE LEAST SAID THANK YOU, THE COOK WAS FRIENDLY THOUGH, THE FRIES WERE REALLY SALTY, THE ORDER BARELY HAD SAUCE ON IT WHICH WASN'T TASTY ANYWAY, THE BEEF WAS KINDA FATTY, BUT THE HAM AND RIBS WERE GOOD, WOULD I GO BACK? DOUBTFUL AND PLEASE CHANGE YOUR GREASE .
I love going to a good BBQ joint and as soon as you get out of your car you can smell it in the air.I got the daily special. Chopped beef (brisket)It was tender and no fat or gristle, but had absolutely no BBQ flavor. I didn't smell any smoke smell when the pit master opened the big "smoker" doors. I think it's just a big oven. There is a much better place across the street ?
Ordered the burnt ends. They were really good but he fries were soggy and room temperature. The service was very slow and most of the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there.
Came across this place after some late night pregnancy craving and all the usual places were near closing or sold out for the day. Which resulted in sending my man across town on a hunt for burnt ends.I had my order ready for him “burnt ends open faced w/ fries (see if they’ll upgrade to sweet potato fries) corn bread, sweet potato pie, baked beans” and of course whatever he wanted lol.He calls me with the bad news… they don’t have any burnt ends. Reading reviews I decide to just sub for the rib tips (never had those before but was not about to send him to another bbq shop to be disappointed). They also didn’t have the cornbread or sweet potato pie, sucks but I could live with that.Customer service was good, order was correct, and didn’t take long at all really.Time for the taste test: starting with the sweet potato fries, they were GREAT! Half a brown paper lunch bag full, cooked just right, and the sweetest seasoning! (Don’t miss the sweet potato pie at all at this point, these made up for it); next the beans, we can be kinda picky but these hit the spot! I like them kinda sweet and without too much fat from the meat and they were perfect; finally the rib tips, didn’t know I’d get a whole takeout box full of them, talk about getting a bang for your buck, lots of picking through to avoid cartilage and such but man were they good too. Seasoning was sweet and the sauce was kinda spicy/tangy which made the perfect combo.Overall would come back here again! But bring back the cornbread and pie!
I just ordered a combo plate at Big T's on Blue Parkway and my order was disappointing. My beef was scraps of brisket, not one single slice of beef. What happened to your quality of service?????
