I met my bookclub here and we thoroughly enjoyed both the menu offerings and the atmosphere. I had PBR because that's just what I like, but there was a huge selection of beer for sale and I brought home two different beers. They had several beers I recognized from overseas, including Pink Elephant beer from Belgium (which is divine!). I give the tater tots 5 out of 5 stars. I would bring The Huzz here on a date.
Great selection. I was overcharged and paid cash. Bartender didn't know how to do a refund. Was told sorry about overcharge but there was nothing she could do. Do not recommend having a drink there. Will not be back!
KC's beer mecca with great food as well. If you love beer you already know. 3vwn if you're not a beer lover they've got something for you.
Bier Station is one of my absolute favorite bars. Their selection of draft beer, canned beer, seltzers, and mixed drinks is amazing! On top of that, the food is outstanding (I highly recommend the pretzels and tacos). We reserved the upstairs room for a large birthday party and had a blast! John and his staff are accommodating, kind, and passionate about what they do. Can't wait to enjoy the patio this summer.
Best selection of beer in the KC area. Good place to hang out, and the food is pretty great too.
Arrived at 6:30 and it wasn’t super busy but not empty either. Told there’s a 30 minutes wait for food which is no problem. Placed an order at 6:45(thanks time stamp from text messages). An hour later (because there’s a wait, no big deal) still no food. So I ask the waitress if it’ll be much longer. She says it might be. Never heard back. Finally at 820 I notice people that ordered via waitstaff after me are getting their food. Ask the waitress again if my food is going to coming out soon. She comes back with the tab and food I never received still on it. She claimed it will take long after close for the kitchen to catch up and that I got my food long ago. Make up you mind on what your story is. Did I not get my food because I order too close to close(because 2 hours, 15 minutes is way too late) or that I got it some time back. Either way, if you can fulfill orders before close, MAYBE you should close the kitchen rather than try to take money from people for an item you’re never going to give them. The positive reviews must be paid for by the owner because there’s no reason to ever go here.TL:DR - Avoid this place or you’ll get charged for food you order hours ago but never receive.
This place is simply pretentious, and your wallet will feel it. God forbid you go with a party and feel an obligation to drink, or else you will be paying a $6 cork fee on bottled beer (this is after its normal price you'd get anywhere else). They'll even go so far to sneak that cork fee on to non-beverage menu items. It's ridiculous a place like this exists. I would also like to apologize for my previous review, the sheer stupidity of this policy made me write things that were untrue. NEVER GOING BACK ???
Don't go here, you get charged $6 PER DRINK Cork fee, ONTOP OF THE ALREADY HIGH PRICE. Also, charged the same cork fee on a chicken sandwich. What are they corking? The owner is definitely smoking crack.
The patio is almost like a dog park, if that's your kind of thing. I loved bringing my dog. The staff was awesome and the menu has a good variety.
We had a fun time checking out several choices. Great selection of unique drinks.
