The Burnt Ends are great. The pulled pork is great. My son loves the smoked ham and cheese grilled sandwich. The beans are good; the fries are good. Burgers and brats for those not into BBQ. Good sized menu considering the size of the kitchen. Outdoor seating only.Open Thursday through Sunday in the summer (scaled-back hours in the winter). Right next to the Worth Harley Dealership. During the summer, there is usually a band playing in the outdoor event center Thursdays, Sundays, and some Saturdays. In the summer, Thursday Night Bike Night is awesome with band, BBQ, and all makes of motorcycles in attendance. If you're not into motorcycles, don't be afraid to stop for the band and BBQ in the summer (you can check their website to see when they're hosting a band.) The BBQ team has great burnt ends (if they don't run out, of course.)Absolutely worth the stop for BBQ if the weather is nice. They do have take-out if the weather is bad.

We are traveling cross country. Did a little homework on KC BBQ near KC airport. So glad we picked Smokehouse! Excellent combo with ribs , chicken and beef. Very good. Highly recommend.

I wanted to finally introduce my wife to Kansas City BBQ because she's from Texas. She had been eyeing this place since we moved to KC in October 2021. On the menu for Burnt End Platter, it says "Choice of 1 or 2: Mouthwatering chunks of certified angus beef brisket, juicy pork, or chunks of delicious polish sausage served with coleslaw, french fries, texas toast, and pickles". When we asked our waiter, he did NOT indicate if you choose only one it doesn't come with the burnt ends, it IS the burnt ends. When we got our plates, mine was missing all but 1 of my sides (the fries). We had to ask for the toast and coleslaw. Then my "burnt ends" were NOT burnt ends. I grew up on burnt ends homemade and what was on my plate was a freaking joke! It was shredded beef with very little bbq sauce! My wife's plate was polish sausage and she was missing her sides as well. We complained to our server and asked for the manager because we expected polish sausage with BURNT ENDS. The manager approaches with a soul attitude and tries to argue with us about what burnt ends really are. Saying the "burn" the ends and smothering in bbq sauce. My wife's sausage had NO burnt ends at all, it was barely warmed up with loads of bbq sauce. NO woman polish sausage is NOT burnt ends!!!!!!!!!! On top of all that, those sides are very small portioned, toddler size. We refused to pay for my wife's plate, did pay for mine since I had taken a few bites, but we should've also fought for that. The ONLY good we got out of it was corn nuggets and fried zucchini... THAT alone was NOT worth the $40 we ended up paying. WILL NEVER RETURN! Now I'm gun shy about finding a different BBQ place for my wife. Thanks for the crappy "burnt" ends! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Also your manager needs an attitude check because that was terrible service on her end too!

Stopped by this spot on the way out of Kansas City (you have to eat 'q' there, right?) and they had a great menu with lots of choices and lots of ways to mix them up. Whether you're looking for scrumptious sandwiches or a full-blown barbecue rib meal, they have it here and lots of sides to go with it. Nice atmosphere, too.

Not wishing to dwell on negatives I will comment on the best parts of the three meat platter and smoked chicken we picked up. The sides were good. Also the young lady at the take out desk was helpful. We are 1 for 2 as the reason we ordered was our first experience was good.

I had the Pork Sandwhich and added Fries to the meal. It tasted absolutely delicious. Pork was smokey, flavor saturated, tender, and juicy; and fries were of the upmost crispiness. I had the original house sauce and their Hazmat sauce. The hazmat sauce brought me to flavor country. 10/10 Recommend this buisness.

Pulled pork was amazingly moist and flavorful. This truck is worth waiting in line for. But I really want to brag on your loaded tater salad...GAME CHANGER! If I could eat only one thing for the rest of my life, THAT would be it for me!!! Sugar Mound Arts and Crafts was a 6/10 until I ate at The BBQ Shack and transformed my day. 11/10 y'all. Give this truck a try and please try the loaded tater salad! You won't regret it.

The service and facilities were OK but the food wasn’t remarkable. I had the Brisket and Burnt Ends with Cole Slaw and Mac ‘n Cheese. They were good but just not great.

Stopped by why visiting the Northland. Great Zona Rosà location. Very awesome dining room. Food came out hot, pretty fast for 2 PM. Serving size was average as great meat on 12 inch two meat combo not stacked very high but awesome taste. Baked Beans were so great i had to order pint to go. Lots of small pieces of brisquit in beans. Perfect BBQ sauce. Highly recommended.

Hey, when in KC, a guy's GOT to get himself some BBQ. This place had all of the meats, great service, and timely presentation. I would recommend!
