Well, a quaint little thai “bistro” that has well cooked food, top notch ingredients and excellent service. Friday night and during peak hours with almost every table full the waitresses were right on point. Seated within five minutes, given the menus immediately with ample time to look over them. Drinks were immediate and food was within 10-15 minutes of ordering. Pretty authentic overall and we were checked on periodically by not just the wait staff, but a gentleman that assured everything was up to par. Food was delicious, bit Americanized from authentic Thai food, but everyone I saw on staff appeared to be Thai and provided the same excellent service you’d get in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. Cannot say enough about the service and they had pickup orders through the roof to contend with and didn’t miss a beat attending to each and every table. Very well run place, impressive to say the least.
Great overall service!Pad Thai was all broken noodles.. 2 inch broken noodles. Flavor was ok.. in my opinion not worth 16$ tho. Small meat portion. Side of Spring Rolls were good! Loved the sauce that came with it.
The food was acceptable but not the best I have ever had. The staff was amiable, and the location was great. Lunch was a busy time so arrive early. They do request no one stay longer than an hour and half.
We had garlic shrimp at no heat, we definitely should have listened to the server when he suggested medium! Altogether, great food, boba tea was amazing, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect way to end the meal.
There was a little bit of a wait, but the restaurant was also full. The food is delicious and the portions are enough for you to eat without feeling stuffed afterward. We loved the experience and would definitely visit again.
Pros: short wait time! We walked right in and were greeting by a friendly host, we ordered a couple drinks which were very good, and the food all came out quite fast.Cons: we felt a little rushed to order, but when we were quickly done eating and we were waiting for the check we had to wait so long it felt like they were either ignoring or forgetting about us.
This is the hands down the best Thai restaurant I have had to date in Kansas City... And I have been to many. Every dish we ordered was honestly so full of flavor and well executed. The catfish with basil sauce and veggies 10 of 10. The soup with coconut flavor... 10 of 10. Pad Thai was 8 of 10 for me but my wife says 9 of 10. It's a small place but nice decorations, great service, and gain... Wow... The flavor and quality of ingredients! I'm not sure how this place is not on any top 10 lists for Kansas City Asian cuisine?
Chose this place because it was the best rated Thai restaurant in town and within walking distance of our hotel. It was packed for lunch and they were clearly short staffed as it took a while to get seated and take our orders, but nothing excessive. Had the pad Thai as that's a pretty basic litmus test for a Thai place and it wasn't very good. The other entrees in our party were just fine as well. For some reason the bathrooms were practically saunas, almost dangerously hot. I'd go again if someone wanted but I'd never make a point to eat there again myself.
I've tried so many Thai places around the U.S. and KC. I have to say it's my favorite. You get a lot for your money and at better price than the competition. Most importantly it's INCREDIBLY tasty! Worth the drive if you have to make it, but if your downtown there is no other option. It's the best!
Delicious!! Cute little restaurant, I like when the outdoor seating is available(gotta love this snow!) Food comes out rather quickly and is always fresh! Great customer service as well! Keep up the good work guys!
