Amazing. Great vegan burrito with a delightful tomato sauce. The coffee is locally roasted and tastes great. The upstairs area was a great place to sit and enjoy a meal. Everything was amazing but the best part was the horchata. I get horchata nearly every time I see it on a menu and Anchor Island's is the best I've had in KC, truly special. Absolutely wonderful place.

1st time customer! Love Love Loved it! Great atmosphere and asthetics. It has a real homey vibe. The owners Mike and Armando are Amazing! Were very nice and well kept place. They will welcome you with open arms. There is also a Kanbe's Market cooler at this location. So while you're getting your coffee or made to order food, stop by and pick up some fresh fruits and vegetables as well. I will be returning!
The staff are amazing and friendly. I order Chai/Matcha large/hot. Great vibes and the food is also great. They also have a 2nd floor that is super chill spot to host meetings. Talk to Armando and Mike if you have any questions or concerns. Restroom on both floors. Super cool decor as well.
I had a Taro Latte and a breakfast burrito and both were so delish-can’t wait to go back again. Super friendly staff, good food, amazing coffee!
Coffee is better than the big-name coffee shops! The service is the best! The danishes are amazing! Do try the almond danishes. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. You'll feel like you've stepped into a tropical paradise.There's also upstairs seating...check it out!
Nice local coffee space that’s actually on a little strip of come cool stores. They are not shy with flavors and you shouldn’t be shy with trying them! So good! The barista was so kind and held great conversation! The store itself was clean and smelled fresh— which makes it a more comfortable dining experience.
Anchor Island is a fantastic little independent coffee shop. Every time we visit we are greeted with warm smiles. Our coffee drinks, whether basic drip or something fancier, have always been delicious and expertly prepared. We love it and will continue to head this way when we want a special coffee treat.
