very different, but amazing food, the wait staff was really nice and explained everythingparking is a little odd, a little far from the restaurant just be aware

10 star meal and one of the best I've ever had in my life. I got the tasting menu and put myself in the chef's hands. 1000% recommended. Katie (sorry if I'm wrong) made me feel like I was the only person she was concerned with, even while being very busy otherwise. Great service, phenomenal food and an extensive drink menu I didn't explore. Their inside seating was beautiful, they had a space for bigger parties and the nicest looking patio. Come and let them spoil you.

One of the very best places to eat in KCGreat foodGreat serviceLarge wine and good beer selections.KC is lucky to have a quality place like @affareKeep up the great menu!

Great experience so far . You will never be disappointed!

Gorgeous and just like home. So by saying that it means a wonderful 2 hours of mindless talk, alcohol and GREAT food! All they need to do is call me when they have my favorite: Knödel. Authenticity is a must and you can mark that off the checklist! Choose here and you won't be disappointed!

We stopped in on our way home from a volleyball tournament. It was late and they got us right in and we had the best German food we've had in the US. The staff was also so amazing, kind and helpful! The pavlova was on point as well as the buttered spetzel!

Great place with great staff. The food is very good with an excellent presentation. They have some unique food offerings which I find enjoyable. The drink offerings were top notch too.Not the least expensive place to eat but definitely on my list of places to return.

Every time we dine here we have a wonderful experience! Great service and great food! Highly recommend.

Completely changed my concept of German cuisine (sorry grandmother Mathilda). Intriguing menu, Thoughtful presentation, Considerate service. 6 of our family visited and all settled on the tasing menu, 4 with wine pairing and one with beer pairing. All enjoyed the meal and savored each bite from the tomato couscous shrimp salad , the two wonderful fish courses with excellent sauce to the very light and tasty dessert. We can’t wait to return.

Simply put... one of the best meals I've ever had in my life.I've eaten German, Polish, Romanian, and Bulgarian food in country and this is one of the best meals I've ever had period. We had the four course meal with the elk loin and Wildschweinkotelett (wild boar chop with porcini mushroom cream sauce, roasted squash, hazelnut spatzle)... truly a transcendental meal.Worth the money 1000%.The service was great, the timing of the courses was great, you will enjoy this.
