Our daughter has enjoyed this restaurant while living in Joplin. We visited on a Thursday night - not for hibachi but for sushi and a bento box for me. The presentation of the rolls is beautiful - really well created. The bento box was excellent and I ended up sharing it, too — portions are generous! Our party had several rolls, some gyoza, and my box and were very satisfied. The location is perfect - right in the mall yet you may enter from outside the mall. We enjoyed it!
We have eat several times their and it has always been good. But this time it was not very good at all it was not cooked enough . The veggies was not done and it was terrible and it cost us over 77 dollars for just two of us.
Ok so Wasabi has gotten better with there overall atmosphere and food, but could still use a lot more display and change. To start the meal looked great and the service started out great, but went down from their. I found out that the roll looked like an 11 year old rolled it, (actually my 11 year old niece does it better lol) and the Crab Rangoon was pretty much hollow, dry, and chewy and same with the pot stickers, yuck! The Spicy Korean Pork got a lot better and the Spicy Crab Roll was really good. The rice got better also, no more squishy oatmeal texture. The place was clean when I came in, but after being here for a bit it’s clear they rely more on speed than clean. The price is a bit much at $17.48 for choice of two, but they don’t serve lunch Bento boxes on Saturday or Sunday so you’re going to be looking at that or higher. I like it, but still don’t love it. P.S. some of the servers straight up invaded my personal bubble to talk to there friends at the adjacent table to mine, not cool.
My wife and I came to eat with our family in Ludington grandkids. There was something on the menu for everyone. I had the Salmon Volcano Roll served with a salad topped with fries salmon skin (I know that sounds crazy, but don't knock it until you try it-It was wonderful).
Staff was great! We love the dim lights and atmosphere. It's very calming and relaxing to eat at. I wish my tea and soup were a bit warmer, but other than that the food was great. Perfect place for a date night. I do wish the "Firecracker" roll was more than just a tiny piece of jalapeno. We really expected some spice packed into that roll!!
DO NOT EAT HERE! WARNING! DO NOT EAT HERE! I've never seen sushi so big, if you want a steak DO not come here! They cut up the steak and filet mignon! The only thing that was good was the customer service. Disgusting! Honestly! And if you do eat here please smell your food, egg rolls smelled like a old dish rag. I just can not. I would give them a 0 star.
Went there with my roommates the evening of February 23 at 7pm, there was one person ahead of us who had been standing there for 10 minutes while the hostess blatantly ignored us, a waitress came up and asked the hostess why we weren't seated yet, and I heard the hostess say," I can't deal with them, we're full." Even though she hadn't talked to us at all or even acknowledged we were there. Rude as heck.
Excellent customer service, fantastic sushi ? , decent prices. I would highly recommend and will be going back.
They sent my order out on a delivery of some sort. When I got there the manager would not speak to me and only allowed me to speak to a waitress. I had to wait 30 minutes over what was quoted and my food had been opened by some other person that it had been delivered to. The waitress said she would give me her 20% off on my next visit. Why should she be doing that instead of correcting my order and giving my from the kitchen what I had ordered? When I went in and tried to find the waitress who had made this commitment they no longer worked there and management refused to honor it. I would never eat here b/c they have no concept of food safety certifications. They ignore all safety measures when they are not being audited.
The waitress was super sweet and very helpful made the experience really nice. The food was was perfect. My daughter's food came out much later than everything else so we had to wait a few but the food tasted great and the waitress was very pleasant.
