In town from PA on business. I google dive bars near me. Shows the local smaller places. Menu looked good. Nice small time seafood place not being anywhere near the ocean. Raw oysters were tasty. Gumbo was real good. Christy behind the bar full of energy especially when she was training someone else. Beats Cracker Barrel. Just a perk put in there. If I'm ever back in the area a plus stop to visit. Thumbs up

Food was Plentiful and at a Reasonable Price. Southern Coast Feel. Staff was Very Friendly and Seating was Comfortable.

This is my favorite local "dive" "raw" bar in the area. Service, food, atmosphere, and everything has always been above par. If you have a problem, ask for the owner. He will be there, which is why this place is always so awesome.Wednesday night special on crab legs is the best in the 4 state area, and they are executed perfectly.

I’ve worked at Turtle Heads for six months I am a cook. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere lit.

Great place if you only want beer to drink, I couldn’t think of anything to drink when told they didn’t have any type of seltzer drinks. As a server myself I would of tried to come up with ideas to make the customer happy. I ended up with a lemon drop drink that taste like strait lemon juice and could see I was being watched from the bar. I didn’t complain, I just didn’t drink it. Also when receiving the bill, only prices were listed with no description. They forgot two items we ordered and when we mentioned that we were told my son didn’t say he wanted that. Yes he sure did because I heard him, teaching him to order for himself. I will not be returning to pay high prices with poor service attitude. The owner is friendly.

Great food Great music and better then that the nicest people you could meet. ?

Completely unimpressed. Was the only table in the back when we got there and it took 15 minutes to get beer. Once we finally got to order it took over 45 minutes to get our food and then it came out wrong. Owner was more worried about telling the band they were too loud than taking care of his customers.

My friend used to own this place when it was the Bait Shop. It has came a long way since then. The inside is really nice. The first time I ate there I got the stuffed crab and was not really impressed with my meal. Trust me I’m not picky either. But the service was good. The second time I ate there my food was a little better, but overpriced. Overall I would still recommend it.

Very rude manager to guests but especially staff. Cooks complained when I put in my order 45 minutes before close. Not to mention I ordered a $35 entree. I canceled my food order. I'm not about to spend that much on food that wasnt cooked with care. I ended up going to red lobster, I recommend you do too.

Who thought you could find a great fish shack in the middle of Missouri. Surf and turf Saturday FTW!
