30+ minutes to get through drive thru. Didn’t include any sauces with the meal. 1/4 pound shrimp was more like an ounce of shrimp. No plastic ware for the sides. Haven’t been to this location in over a year because it screwed up four orders in a row back then. Never again!
Popcorn shrimp, was there any shrimp in there? Chicken was fair at best. Fries were cold. Waited 10 min to get food. Wasn't the workers fault, but ac was out in 104 degree weather. Big water puddle on floor and smelled like burning wire. We were wet with sweat. We should of just left and went somewhere else.
I haven't been to the Joplin Popeyes since before Covid. I love their spicy chicken, but I'm afraid this was the last time buying there.I ordered their 11 piece family dinner. It was to come with 2 large sides and 5 biscuits. It was delivered in 3 small boxes and the large sides came in 3 single serving containers each. The legs were a big disappointment as they were dried out and not much bigger than a drum from a wing. I remember them as large and succulent. The single serving sides were a joke. The plastic containers were redesigned to look the same size as the old containers, but a large bubble in the center of the container has been added so it looks like you get the same amount but it's actually a couple of tablespoons less. The total large serving was less than 3/4 of a cup each. I guess it's like anything else these days, smaller servings at inflated prices by deception.The biscuits were dense and almost raw in the middle and "golden pale" and 1/2" thick......undercooked. No butter brushed on top and not flakey as I remember it. The dogs got those.
The amount of gravy that tops the carton of gravy is absolutely ridiculous. If you actually want to taste any gravy at all, I'd recommend spending the almost additional $5.00 for a large gravy. I'm not saying anything regarding the wait time simply because they may not have had more than the 3 people I saw working. The young lady working at the drive thru was very pleasant overall.

I absolutely do NOT recommend this restaurant! I waited an hour for my food. I went inside to see what the issue was, the ladies behind the counter rolled their eyes and scoffed at me. My 10 year old who’s birthday is today and wanted Popeyes even spoke up. They scoffed and rolled their eyes at hi . Absolutely the worst service I have ever gotten before!!!!!! Will be filing a formal complaint.
Before covid, I loved our local Popeye's. They can't get their act together at all. Something is always unavailable. The last two visits, they have been out of chicken. It's a chicken restaurant!! The lobby is usually locked, and the drive-through is always packed and slow moving. I have visited this location several times recently as a doordasher, and it can take up to an hour in line. Save your time and give your money to the competition across the street. I really hope corporate sees these reviews and fixes the issues. I miss how good it used to be.
DO NOT GO TO JOPLIN POPEYES!!! 39 mins in the drive thru!! All I ordered was 2 of the 12 pc nuggets, they took my money and told me it would be 3 minutes and to please pull forward. 9 minutes later I seen a manager leaning against a table in the lobby on her phone so I got out and went to the locked door. I knocked on the window and she wouldn’t even come to the door, she pointed back at the kitchen and held up her finger at me and went back to her cell phone. Another young lady eventually came to the door and told me it would be two more minutes! More than 5 minutes later I finally received my food. I am extremely disappointed in the service and the behavior of the lady that should be leader and realize if it weren’t for us customers she wouldn’t have a job nor that cell phone she was too busy texting on!!
Used to be a good place. Went yesterday and will NEVER go back again. Only one side available (mashed potatoes & gravy), chicken was very greasy! I'm pretty sure the chicken strips were semi raw. Felt sick the rest of the day and evening. Not doing it again. So disappointed as we used to love it. UPDATE: 4/21/22 Decided to give it one more try...trust me, NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! Did not get what was ordered and paid for, no receipt, had to walk to drive up window to retrieve my bank card which was not returned to me. Fish sandwich was disgusting ?
Ordered a large drink when I said something about the lady at the drive through says well I have it as a small and did not even offer to make it right. Other than that would be nice to go in to order take out and not have to wait in the drive through line almost 20 minutes. The food was good first time to have their Cole slaw and was pleasantly surprised.
