Server was good. Food was not. I normally order med-rare. I am pretty sure they only cooked this with a branding iron to get the drill marks. The steak was grey except the grill marks and cold in the middle. Send it back… pretty sure it was microwaved for 45 seconds, the plate was warmer than the middle of the steak. Sad when the best thing you eat at a steakhouse was the mozzarella sticks and Luke warm “iced tea”
What a joke!!! The GM was manning the hostess stand along with a hostess. Never said a word to us. He handed the menus to hostess and mumbled something to her. She kinda looked at us, so we followed her to our table. She just put the menus and specialty menus in a jumbled stack on the table and walked off.We ordered our drinks, they came out quickly. No issues there. Also ordered the deviled eggs without onions. They came out pretty quick too and didn’t have the chives on top. They looked very tasty. Then first bite could only taste onions. Guess they mix onions into the yolk filling. Yuck!!! Allowed them to take them back, they were that bad.Then the steaks came out. We both ordered the Logan. Hers she ordered medium, mine medium rare. Hers came out with a very charred outer. She cut into it and it was done well. They took it back to remake. Mine at first looked a tad under cooked , so I attempted to eat it. Then the next slice was beyond under cooked rare. Had to send it back for some more heat time. It came back with an outer char but internals were about the same. I ate about 4 bites and couldn’t stomach it any further. I was beyond done with attempting to eat it. Along with the poor cooking abilities, it was extremely tough. To add to this, when the server took my steak back for more heat, he stopped by GM at hostess stand and they seamed to think it was funny and had a little laugh over it.Another nicer manager stopped by to talk to us. He was super apologetic which was heartfelt. He comped us for one of our steaks. Which was super nice. We weren’t wanting free food, just a good meal.
The porterhouse steak is melt in your mouth delicious. If you're a vodka drinker I would definitely recommend the hunch punch. Such a yummy frozen lemonade. Prompt service and amazing customer service!!!
Service was fast and friendly. Drinks stayed full waitress checked on us frequently. Food was good and very filling, we both needed a togo box.
Three trips. First asked for my steak medium well because I don't like it bloody. Get it and cut it open and it's rare with blood running all over my plate. The waitress took the plate back and brought me back the same steak, just grilled longer on a smaller plate and the original plate with all the blood that had now soaked into my potatoes. Second trip. Ordered chicken. Got that but not my baked potato. Waitress was so busy flirting at another table it took 20 minutes to get another employee walking by to tell them and another 10 minutes before it got to my table. Third and final trip. Husbands salad came but not mine. He flagged down waitress and she was like "oh did you have one too?" Then after about forty minutes a manager came over and said our order had not gotten in but it was being rushed and the chicken (which my husband ordered) and the pork chops would be at our table in two minutes. Well, I didn't order pork chops. I ordered chopped steak. Off she went to get it changed. So it was another 15 minutes. They did comp our mushrooms. But I don't feel like it was enough. This used to be a good place to go and is just around the corner from me but I won't be back.
Just got out from Logan’s- Joplin. 1st - the chair was full of bbq sauce, ok, I can clean it myself, no problem. 2nd- the server spilled our drinks all over the table and floor, she was carrying 4 glasses and I understand it was an accident so we asked to move to another table. The server acted as if it was our fault and ignored us and didn’t bother taking our orders for a long time. We didn’t get our salads that we have ordered. From beginning to end, no apology whatsoever and we still left a tip but wouldn’t come back or recommend it .
I like eating here for the most part. Overall the service is fast and friendly, the food is good. Not sure if they were having an off day this past Saturday but it wasn't up to what I'm used to, both the food and the service.
They have an amazing peach tea made with peach schnapps called Southern Peach officially on my must have list... the loaded potato skins omg so good, the fried okra was best ever had steak was good with topping but ok alone had to swap steaks with my wife due to mine being way more rare and hers done done although ordered same cut same way definitely not a 50$ per person meal but good
