Save your money, this place is a total disappointment. Over priced for what you get, we got the Cajun seafood boil and fried calamari. The boil was awful. And must have had a cup of grease in it and the seasoning was anything but Cajun. It was a shame that a squid had to give its life for the calamari, was like a rubbery hush puppy, absolutely the worst calamari I have ever eaten. When you spend 92.00 for a meal for two you expect to have a good meal. This was over priced garbage in a bag. These people should be jailed.
The shrimp was amazing!!! Meg was extremely attentive. Definitely a place you want to visit.
The worst place I have ever eaten. My family and I went there to try it, we all got sick right after eating there. We waited by the counter to ask how we get seated, the lady at the desk looked at us and ignored us by playing on her phone. The Crayfish were all mushy inside and tasted horrible. We ordered fresh crayfish and got mush. My family and I recommend you do not eat there unless you want food poisoning.
Emily is outstanding, if it’s your first time out, I encourage you to ask for her. To the owner: Your food is unquestionably delicious. The front of the house is in serious decline. From customer interaction to receipt accuracy. I truly wish for you to succeed and hope you take this as candid feedback from a concerned customer and not an attempt to get something for nothing. Attached is a receipt from the night that went so terribly wrong that I changed my opinion of your bussiness.
It would be nice they would pick up the phone and put you on hold versus just letting it ring and ring. I never Know if they’re open or busy because no one answers the phone. It’s frustrating and i think It would be more professional to answer your phone even if you can’t take the order yet. I’ve called 6 times to place an order just to get there and realize they ARE open and just not picking up the phone. Put your customers on hold rather than not answering our calls at all.
Haven’t gotten my food yet and already dissatisfied. 2 other couples in here and lots of workers. Haven’t gotten refills or an update on my order that was placed 30 minutes ago. Calamari tasted like rubber.
It was okay. The Calamari was good but my basket was kind of empty looking and the side salad looked great but tasted funny. My Ol' lady said that her okra side was good but the fish was lacking. I may go again to try their boils because they seemed to be popular with several other people eating them while I was there.
Waitress surly an ill tempered from the front door. So bad we left without ordering. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! LEFT THEM TO THEIR EMPTY DINNING ROOM.So now their patio area is a gravel and mud filled lot next to the building! Your type of service won't be missed !
Shrimp Po boy was good. The baguette was legit. Fried pickles & the fried okra were under cooked. The boil was decent. The server was good and friendly. I can't remember her name but she was a petite brunette working by herself on a Saturday afternoon. Beware if you get the oysters on the Half-Shell they are so big they were off-putting to us and we did not finish them. Turtle Head's has great oysters just the right size and they're grilled oysters are lovely. The hush puppies were really good that are only going to be a temporary menu item for some reason.
