This was a terrible disappointing experience, food and service. First the turbo hot wings are not very hot, but honestly that would have been fine if the service was decent instead of slow and lacking any kind of friendliness. A server not being friendly is just unforgivable. I have no reason to return. They caught our eye with free kids food, then left us wishing we had never come in. I can not say it enough, if you choose to dine here you will be disappointed, go somewhere else.
We happened to go on a Friday night as found out they had a special of kids eat free. The cheese fries app was amazing and plenty to share. Our kids raved about the Mac and cheese and chicken strips. I had a Cobb salad and it was one of the best I've eaten. My husband had oysters and a burger. Loved it all. Will be going back soon!
This was my first visit to Jeffersons. Overall it was a good experience, but there were a few hiccups. Our host was very prompt and we were seated right away. Our server was quick to get our drinks and take our order, she done a great job at that. Our fried pickles came off very quickly, and we're quite delicious. Our food didn't take very long to arrive, and they were somewhat busy. There was a few small errors with our order, but they were handled promptly and courteously. My burger was quite tasty, the beef patty could have been better, as it was kinda flat and lifeless. My daughter's wings were quite good according to her. The fries were a bit to salty, so I left them along, someone may have been crying in them. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant seemed quite boring, as all the tvs are muted and there were no soft tones of music to be heard. This could be a really good spot with a few changes, but it wasn't terrible.
The service was adequate and the restaurant was clean enough. The oysters rockefeller, and the baked oysters were good. Market price that day was $27.99 a dozen, which seemed a little pricey. I like a dry rub on wings instead of a sauce, so I asked for a selection of dry rubs, and they told me which ones were dry. But they're not dry. I got the Mediterranean and apparently after they deep fry the breaded boneless nuggets they soak them in butter... ?? .. "so the rub adheres to the surface". Which is really dumb, because you don't need butter to make seasoning stick to things that just came out of a fryer, and the server should mention that "oh by the way these will be drenched and butter that will collect in pools on your plate". On top of that they were pretty much flavorless. They tasted like fryer oil that needed to be changed. We went there because we heard they had grilled oysters which we eat at Turtleheads all the time, and very much enjoy. We were told they were out of grilled oysters. I asked why they couldn't just grill the ones they were serving raw, and apparently they came in frozen and already grilled. We had the fried pickles also which were decent. Prepackaged, also. So all in all our first visit will probably be our last visit. There's no compelling reason to go back.
First time visit for me, my wife had eaten their takeout before. Other family members rate it highly. We were quickly seated and it appeared there was plenty of staff available. I found the restaurant to be very clean. I had a beef Philly cheesesteak and fries and my wife had fish tacos and chips with salsa. Drinks are rather limited to fountain drinks or sweet/unsweetened tea. I had sweet tea, my wife, water with lemon. Our food was alright, nothing really to get excited about. With inflation being what it is right now, the prices are reasonable.
Unfortunately, disappointed yet again. It was really good the first couple of times I ate there. The last two have been beyond disappointing. Won't be going back. I did not touch my sandwich. When I asked for a box, the waitress didn't even notice and/or care that I had eaten nothing on my plate except a few fries... The last time I ate there the service was so bad that I sent an email to customer service suggesting a possible problem with training, etc. Of course, I heard nothing back and obviously nothing has changed.
Love coming here. Great food! Great drinks. Bridget was our waitress and bartender! Love her and we will be back!
Our server was Bridgett today for our lunch visit. After a long morning of farm chores, we were hungry! Food was excellent! Fast service and very chill atmosphere! Definitely will be back for more! ❤️
Food is good. Fried pickles are awesome. Fried mushrooms are good too. Only complaint is every time I go there and get their "boneless wings" there's hardly any sauce on them. Waitress was eh. Not really paid attention to us much this time. But def will go back
We love this place. My 2 kids love Jefferson's chicken wings. I would recommend this place to any chicken wing lover. Service is excellent, friendly and fast. Establishment is always clean and beers are always cold.
