Good food and great service
Worse service I have EVER seen at ANY Iron Skillet!!! The price I paid wouldn't have bothered me if the service was immaculate!
If you're going to have steak on your menu make sure your cooks understand what medium rare is. Two steaks both cooked to borderline well done because the cook doesn't know what a timer is. Still sent them out knowing they were overcooked.
I am having biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top and will say it's the best or close to anyways and will say they have the nicest wait staff and so very attentive and very reasonable priced menu with an attractive selection so next time u are passing joplin stop in friends
After a few bites I knew I had tell! It's not only the food but the service is great and I'm looking forward to making this place a new favorite on my route
My two stars are based on the environment, the service, the food, and the wait time. Needless to say, I was not impressed. The only reason I stopped there was because I had kids who had been in the car way too long and needed food and I needed to get gas. I didn’t have time to look for something else. I wish I had because there were much better options just down the road. The first impression of the place is that they don’t care about their first impressions. Half of their booths and seats are not even available because either they are roped off or they are disassembled. This makes seating difficult because no one is there to seat you. You have to find a seat yourself. The decor is also very shabby and lacking. The staff are friendly enough. Perhaps too friendly. They just kept hovering and talking about my kids which, for the most part, doesn’t bother me but can be annoying when you are trying to handle issues amongst your kids or if you just want to eat in peace. The food took a rather long time to come out and was very poor in taste for the horrendous price they charged.I watched tables get cleared but not wiped down before another group sat at them. This is another issue with guests seating themselves. Allowing them to sit at an unwashed table is just gross. All in all, I’d suggest steering clear from this facility at all costs. Go ahead and just drive the extra five minutes to a much better establishment where you can eat decent food in a comfortable setting with much more professional staff.
Ordered chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and green beans. Good sized portions. Green beans aren't canned has onions and bacon in them ( so if have picky eaters). Also got a piece of garlic bread.
Amazingly friendly service and food. The huge portions gave 3 meals out of my 1 dinner entree! It has a small hometown diner feel. My 1 yr old son had a blast with the waitress. We really enjoyed our visit!
Good food and service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a Patty Melt... which is described on the menu as "a thick juicy steak burger topped with Swiss cheese and grilled onions. Served on grilled rye." What a joke the product they actually served was! It was a small, thin, dry burger patty that wasn't even big enough to cover the rye bread. And.... there was not a single onion on the burger. None at all. It was horrible. The service was very mediocre. This was my first time there... and it will definitely be my last time there.
