Very pleased with the service food was wonderful. One of the best restaurant experience have had in a long. Prices very reasonable and good selection of meats and vegetables and a good gluten free selection. The only suggestion I would have is to have servers ask people if it is the first time in so new people would have a idea on what to do. Was very pleased with the servers explanation when we asked how it worked though.
Not a real Mongolian grill. I live in another state and we have an amazing Mongolian grill. All of the chefs are Mongolian or Chinese. This place had a young Caucasian male cooking that had no business being on a flat top. Couldn't handle spatula's. My party was 4 and we all had each other's veggies in each other's plates due to him flinging food everywhere. When I entered I watched how long he was cooking the food so I went ahead and overkilled the sauce on my food. I put literally 12 ladles of sauce between my starch bowl and meat and veggie bowl. My egg was burnt my crab was like a tire and my food was still so dry I couldn't even eat it. We got ours to go or they would have had a mouthful. My whole party ended up tossing the food and we went and got burgers. Never again very dissatisfied.
Food was very good. Our waitress was awesome...they were almost out of a lot of the veggies etc. Short staffed.
Great Date night Spot!! Don't forget to ring that Gong!! Well worth every penny!! Everything is made fresh just like you want it, right in front of you! It has always been a favorite!!
For those that have not been it's kind of buffet style. You pick your noodles, meat, veggies, sauce, etc and take it to the grill and they grill it in front of you. It takes about 3-4 minutes on the grill. We went when it was slow so the whole process took about 5-10 minutes and it's all you can eat.The food was okay.. they have sauce recipes posted if you can't decide what sauces you want. Service was great for us, but I could see it taking a while if it were busier.
My family and I have been coming here for years and we never have any issues. The only problem that we do see sometimes that we come is that the sauces are VERY watered down! We’ve brought is up before and it was fixed but they are starting to do it again! Seems like we’re just adding water to our food!
I have always enjoyed eating here. However on my last visit it could have been better. The waitress I had was super friendly and did her job with the utmost excellence, but the same can't be said for the cooks. The only one that seemed to know how to do his job was a gentleman in a white shirt. That man deserves a raise considering the guys he has to work with.
Good restaurant. A little different experience. You select your meats,veggies, noodles and or rice and place them in a bowl. You than add sauces to your liking. There are a lot of selections on the buffet. You then give your food to the cooks who grill it while you wait. It goes pretty fast. The service was very friendly and helpful. It was a unique experience. I would definitely recommend this place.
The service was great.. and the cooks were very entertaining and never gave some one through wrong bowl. Now this was the first time I have ever been to a Huhot. The only problem I had was they were missing a lot of the stuff... I tried to build at least 4 of the bowl recipes they have and they didn't have all the ingredients for any of them.
Nice, fresh ingredients. Great selection of veggies, really impressed. Sauces were fantastic, the habanero (level 11 I think) is legit HOT.Came between lunch and dinner so it was pretty quiet. No waiting for the food to be cooked.Would definitely come back.
