Blacken chicken Salad... salad was good... breast obviously cooked day(s) before... dried out- tough as leather, and very poor product...Service was marginal...ordered ranch dressing with my wings, and got blue cheese... food runner was asked to bring me ranch, she rolled her eyes and never got Ranch. My server got to table about 7 minutes later and brought me Ranch...wings were cold by then.Not busy at all, the staff's "attention to details" was obviously not their priority.
If you go to Hackett's... You have to get the fried green beans, My favorite are the spicy fried green beans with spicy ranch.Some of the best wing sauce I've ever tasted, and the chicken chunks are top grade. Found a new favorite side with my visit today, the onion rings are magnificent if you are onion ring fan. The small onion ring basket is enough for two people, But they were so good I ate it all by myself.
One of the best wing experiences I've had in years. All the flavors have something to offer, we got about 80 wings and a mix of flavors and there wasn't a single one we didn't like. They say the hot and honey is their specialty but in my opinion the Greek dry rub and the beer stole the show from everything else. We had. Top that off with a nice open environment, great weight staff, good pours from the bar, and a great conversation with the owner on the way out. This will be a place I remember and stop and Joplin for any time I'm passing through the area.
When it comes to chicken wings, Hacketts can't be beat, best wings I've ever had. We always encourage people passing through Joplin to make time for Hacketts. It's where my family from out of town always wants to go. They have great sides - fries green beans, fried pickles, frued cauliflower, sweet potatoe bites, fries and the onion rings are so good!The wings come boneless or bone in. Too many great sauces to list and dry rubs too! Bit the Hot & Honey is my fave.Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, plenty of TVs to watch sports, full bar... I recommend giving them a try, you won't be sorry.
Great! The chicken chunks are huge! I had the honey sauce, it was very good. We also really liked the garlic cheese curds. Nice atmosphere in the dining room and good service!
Hot wings are lacking due to shortage. I get it. Other food is regular bar food. Can't complain. Shout-out to Aaron behind the bar. He's fast and great conversations.
I got the chicken chunks, and these leave everyone else far behind. They were crispy, heavenly and HUGE! Seriously about a 2 inch cube that is more meat than breading, and oh! The breading is delicious!I also got the fried green beans because I've never had them anywhere before. Not sure what I was expecting, but these were fabulous! You get a good sized portion for the price, too.I would highly recommend either dish and will definitely be going back myself!
Very disappointed. Came in to have a bloody mary, like posted in the pics. All there was....lemon and green olives. No celeey, wings, bacon. Nothing. Very bland and very disappointed
Food was okay. Service was fast. Not the friendliest of environments as far as the staff goes!
Picked up a gift card for Christmas, very nice friendly staff!! Helpful and smelled great!!
