I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy a side salad and hot roll. And it was amazing. Definitely coming back again. And the server was kind and courteous and very polite. And the prices were honestly reasonable.
The staff was perky and friendly and the kitchen was ready to prepare a dinner meal at 730am. The daily roasted coffee definitely shows in freshness and quality. The banquet area was more than accommodating for a large party.
Thanks for a great breakfast!! Food was absolutely the best and the waitress we had we loved. So very attentive and great customer service. Definitely a place to eat. We will go back next time in Joplin.
I would definitely recommend this place for hosting your special occasion. They were so easy to work with and everything went smoothly. We had my mother's 70th surprise party here and they made us feel very comfortable. We were allowed to bring in decorations and our own desserts. We ended up not having as many people come as we had thought, due to having the biggest snow storm of the season, of course, and they were still very accommodating and helpful. And let's talk appetizers! Hands down the best onion rings around and fried pickles!
Our orders were huge! I order the hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese and it was so much food I took a box home! And the rolls were heavenly!! And turtle cheesecake for dessert, of course in a to go box ?!!
This was a fantastic experience!! Was feeling a little down because of my situation my son is at Parsons it's (Assisted Living for the mentally challenged), and so I've looked for a place and there wasn't a lot open (for a nice dinner).. I thought we were going to have to go to Golden Corral, but at the last minute the owner of granny's called me and I got in.. I'm so glad we did it was a fantastic experience..The owner(Bobby I believe is her name) greeted us at the door.. A gentleman came by our table (manager maybe) and asked about the food, the pea salad I can't say enough about it (I don't even like pea salad really) it was so delicious thank you so much for finding a spot for us and thank you for most delicious experience the food is amazing driving in from Kansas City this was a pleasant surprise..I would make the drive again just to have a slice of the coconut cream pie..

great service and great food. the bacon egg burger is quite possibly the best and the strawberry rhubarb pie is the best pie ive ever had. 11/10
