Oh, this place is so, so good. They have the very best top-shelf margaritas in town. The wait staff is super-friendly. The restaurant is owned by a young local family, so it's nice knowing that my money is going right back into the community! The food is excellent, and their seafood is especially good. Can't wait to visit them again!
I did like the music at the table side it was very nice. But was not thrilled about the chips and salsa. (Mostly salsa) the salsa tastes like it had taco seasoning and it was not very good. The waiter was very nice. I ordered chicken fajitas. Anywhere else I have ever been it is chicken, onions , green peppers. This was a little bit of chicken, rice and some kind of cheese sauce. It was not very good. I didn't complain because the place was very busy (Sunday afternoon). I can't complain about the people they were great! I just was not excited or thrilled with the food.
This Place is Terrible!! Bland and flavorless food. Yuck!! The biggest taste was the grill oil they used to heat the stuff up . The rice was FLAVORLESS and sticky. Do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Bad service and NASTY Food! And it's dirty to boot. Total thumbs down ???If I could give ZERO I would. Will NEVER go back.
Great food and drinks. The food was hot and tasted great. I really like the salsa and I normally don't like to much hot spice. It was the perfect combination with chips. They also have a kids menu and color pages to help them stay busy before eating.

We placed a large order for pick-up and they were patient and kind while we went through a laundry list of tacos and other items. Each person we encountered was friendly and helpful when we arrived. We waited a few minutes while the order was packed up. Expect big orders to take a little bit of time to ensure they are hot and fresh.
Only getting one star because I can't give zero. Food was terrible. Management didn't care. Instead I was given an attitude. I could only stomach two bites of my food and they wouldn't even give a discount. If you're looking for good food, don't go here. Seek out another place to eat. Or better yet, eat shoe leather instead. It'll taste better.
My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Joplin! I eat here almost every Sunday. I always order the Mexican flag and it has never once disappointed. Our service has also always been top notch every time we go.
When in Joplin we always try to go to El Vaquero. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always friendly. No gap between refills and you will be served quickly.Love the enchiladas. Love the 5 cheese chili. Their cheese dip is one of the best in town!Been their so many times, never had a bad experience!
