I ordered the shrimp with hush puppies. My husband ordered the fried chicken and the waiter came back and said that they could not cook that at that time of night, it was just after 8pm. He ordered the chicken fried chicken. We got our food in around 5 minutes. His was ok, but my shrimp and hush puppies were dark and looked like they had been in a warming tray all afternoon. I think that they dumped all the leftovers from the day on my plate. I could not even finish it! There were others that came in after we did, but it seemed that everyone was more interested in going home than giving a customer a good experience. We do not have a Cracker Barrel close to us and we used to look forward to vacation so we can go to one. Not anymore, On our way home we avoided going to them even though we were looking at one out our hotel window! Literally left a bad taste in my mouth and we will NOT go back. Biscuits and corn muffins are not good anymore either. Not worth the money at all.
Our waitress Erin was wonderful! The food was tasty, restaurant was clean and prices were great. Only negative was being treated rudely by a store employee named Brad who was simply not interested in helping us and made annoyed comments towards us. We’re excited for our next trip to Cracker Barrel!

We're on a cross country trip from Utah. We needed a good noon meal today. Found your store in Joplin Missouri. Got the grandma sampler and the chicken tenders. Hit the spot! Holding us over till tomorrow morning. Delicious!

Ever since I discovered this jewel of a of the past, I fell in love with it. Craker Barrel is the place for good old country dinner or breakfast.
Great food as always. However their stuffed sweet potato was much smaller than usual for other Cracker Barrels I've been to. And the waiter, though very kind was unable to answer correctly if ham was in some of the vegetables. After we delivered them he did verify ham was mixed in, and had no problem replacing the side with meat free vegetables.
Popped into Cracker Barrel on our road-trip heading north. The hostess and our wait staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful. We had such a comfortable, delicious meal and Lacey, our waitress was exceptional! What a pleasant surprise. We have eaten at plenty of Cracker Barrels but this one was a little extra special because of the staff. ?
