Way to expensive not at all clean! I use to love this place but David is putting prices to high for the quality and quantity of his new dive. Cleanliness is very important now and I don't like seeing my food handlers with dirty fingernail and just plain nasty.
The food was not great. It tasted like it has from a tin can. It was also extremely overpriced, I paid $24.25 for just myself to eat there. The staff was super nice and friendly though.
Awesome food and unbeatable service. We never had to ask for chips or tea refills, and really great tamales. Very happy yall are in the neighborhood :)
This is a local restaurant in a quaint, vintage location that was a former Drive-In. They serve very good traditional Mexican food. Prices are good and service is attentive.
I've eaten Mexican all over the country. Food was bland I left 1/3rd of my plate, the wife left 1/2 or more of hers. $46.00 for lunch is way overpriced. We won't be back.
Came for the cheese dip was not disappointed in the slightest. Food is excellent, warm atmosphere. I recommend this to anyone wanting a good meal.
Horrible service. The waitress we had barely came by we had to have someone fill up our water and salsa. But the food was good so for service 1 out of 5 but for food 5 out of 5.
My experience is that they're doing a great job in their new location on South Main Street in Joplin. I was told that these are the original owners. They have the best chili rellenos that I've had since I moved back to Joplin a year-and-a-half ago. They fry their own taco shells which is also unique for this area. The food is great and the service is good. The atmosphere is somewhat claustrophobic because it's a very small facility. However, the feel and attitude is very positive. Definitely worth a visit!
Just like it always was only in a new location. It was good to see David come out of retirement to bring the place back. Definitely one of Joplin's finest.
New location over off of South Main. Less seating but they still have their Carnita Tacos. Which are the best thing ever. I got mine to-go.
