Food was OK. 1 star for service... I can honestly say it was the worst service I have had in quite sometime. Honestly, McDonalds was better than this, and McDonalds is at the bottom of the barrel. Our server was so slow and forgetful. We sat at 5:35 pm, we walked out at 7:25pm. In our area there were 2 servers for 7 to 8 tables. Most tables had 2-4 people. We place our order.... 25-30 minutes later she brings out the salad and the meals at the same time and her comment was, "I know the salad should come out first, but I am busy, so you will have to deal with it". There was a couple who came in 10 minutes after us and their salads we brought out before their meal?.... No drink refills.... After we finished had another 25 minutes waiting on to-go boxes, bag, and ticket... Once I hot the ticket, it was another 10 minutes before took it to cash it out, then another 10 minutes wherever she took my card to run it?
Was traveling through Joplin and had to check out their pies. The cherry-vanilla-coconut cream pie is divine, lovely country diner atmosphere, and service was great!!! I'm going to stop here and try a new slice of pie every time I'm passing through! (I bet their other food is good, too, but I'm a pie addict, LOL.)

Great food and great service! My wife is very picky when it comes to eating out, so when she finds a place she likes, it has to be good. The waitress we had was one of the best we've ever had in all our days of dining out, and that's a lot of days (lol). This place is definitely worth trying out!
Fabulous food, but SLOW for us. We were seated at 12:30, didn't get food til 1:30. I think we were forgotten because other people were seated after us and got their food before us. It happens. ?♀️ Still worth going back for!
127/10 Holy cow! SO good. I can only saw great things about this place. The steak was PERFECT (the best we've ever had in a restaurant): lean, melted in your mouth, not overly seasoned. The pulled pork was tender, not dry or overly juicy, full of flavor but not too strong, didn't even need bbq sauce. The fries weren't too greasy, soggy or crunchy, and had naturally good flavor. Everything homemade was great: our server brought us samples of the coleslaw, beans, and potato salad, which were all wonderful, the ranch was creamy, and the rolls were so fluffy - which they use to make the croutons too so those were also great. The chess pie was silky and rich. The portions of everything were generous too.And the service! Jody was AMAZING, plus we got to meet the owner (major bonus points since she was there in a Saturday night).SO worth the price, which was very reasonable.Honestly how have we never heard of this place before?
Best waitress my wife and I have had in many years. Food was great, and service exceptional!
