Love the coffee. It's on par with cafes in Europe. The employees know what they are talking about and are passionate about offering a variety of great beans. Also a good bake shop inside.
Good coffee. (Not the best I have had in the area, but roasted with care) Nice, comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff. The space would benefit from some improved lighting and some comfy nooks and crannies to curl up and read/work, etc. as is the movement in the coffee world, but space can limit this, understandably. We enjoyed the humorous local art.
This was my second time visiting here. Zoë was amazing and super helpful! I absolutely love the Mocha she made...it was almost too pretty to drink but I did. It was so good! The vibe in there is awesome too!
Blueberry or Lemon scone and you can't go wrong. We've had teas mostly, but absolutely everything has been amazing! Super fun place to sit and enjoy part of the day.
I always love local coffee shops. One suggestion to make this place just a little better is to add more food options. Like a simple sandwich or a breakfast burrito to go with a coffee. Otherwise a great addition to the already amazing area!
Always a great cup of coffee! My favorite is a cafe au lait with the Ethiopia blend and half and half. Oh, also love the looks of the new to go cups!
My favourite speciality coffee in the area.Locally roasted and owned, with the beans sustainably sourced.This includes farms operated by hard working women, and always purchased in a way that the local communities benefit.The staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable.You can get some great retail coffee and other brewing suppliesBearded Lady is definitely worth a visit if you need a sneaky takeaway coffee, meeting a friend, or sitting down to work or study.
I SO wanted to love this conveniently located, with easy parking to boot, local coffee shop. Alas, that didn’t happen. The flavored latte lacked flavor and the pumpkin scone was a brick. Both got tossed. On the upside, the barista was friendly. The shop was clean. The bagged to buy coffee was exceptional. Based on reviews, my hunch is my experience was a one off. Still…a pricey one for me.
My favorite coffee shop in Joplin - though there are quite a few good ones. The atmosphere of this coffee shop is clean and artistically modern. I've gone here to work, do homework, catch up with friends, and get a much needed caffeine boost. The quality of drinks is superb even if there might not be as much variety. Talking with staff is always a pleasure. I would certainly recommend Bearded Lady!
