The service wasnt that great the chubby burger was good the fries were cold and not cooked all the way the tace salad is NOT something I would ever order.
Hands down best burgers around. Amazing shakes! Love their fries. Pretty much anything on the menu I'd recommend! I love coming here and bringing my entire family, the price is super affordable!
This place takes local residents back to our childhood. The food is delicious (although it's mostly deep-fried, so I can only go as a special treat). The restaurant is always sparkling clean. The kitchen and storeroom are visible from the front counter where orders are placed, and they're also clean. The staff gets along beautifully and works together harmoniously, adding to the cheerful environment. Familles can gather in large old-fashioned corner booths, but there are lots of smaller tables as well that can be rearranged easily. This last visit we forgot we needed to ask for carryout instead of dining in-no problem, the counter staff immediately got word to the cooks and it was packaged accordingly. And they still have the best limeades ever.
This location has always set the standard and quite frankly I don't think any other location even comes close. Always friendly fast service! Can't go wrong with fresh cooked to order food and a shake oh and they have Pepsi products. One of our go to stops couple times monthly. Thanks Babes
I grew up in Joplin Babes was my favorite place to eat .. And even now I have to stop at Babes and get a cheeseburger basket with onion rings. It’s the best of the best I love babies drive-in I’m gonna make a trip in a few days I’m going go to babes❤️??
I live an hour away but if I'm going to be in the Joplin area and Babe's is open, I make a point to stop and get a Chubby Cheese burger basket! So so so good!
Food was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like on my visit was no carrier cup holders for my drinks. I had went through the drive thru for a family meal order with all having drinks. It was a little difficult to get the drinks settled in my car without spilling. I had also asked the person working at the window to wipe off the excess spill when she handed me the drinks. All she did was to hand me a bunch of napkins. This place needs to work on people skills.
Waited forever for food. Employees do not practice safe food handling and the whole restaurant looks dirty. Restrooms were FILTHY. Waited 20 minutes for a corn dog and large COLD mushroom. Cost went up portion on mushrooms went DOWN! I understand everything has gone up but not the portion and quality. Disappointed??
been going here for 20+yrs, didnt mind the price hike but my large suzzie qs only half full was the end for me. they just lost at least 30$ a wk. guess its culvers now
Good burger and tots, service was pleasant and prompt, 4:00 and the floors and a couple tables were in need of cleaning. All in all it was a good experience and will be back when in the area.
