I’m a bbq snob and I got the I Love Texas Tacos with a side of jalapeño cheddar grits. Eugene at this location recommended the grits and he was not wrong! Delicious flavor, perfectly cooked and spot on! The Tacos were yummy and full of flavor. Quaint setting in downtown Jeff City-highly recommend!
Excellent BBQ. We’ve sampled BBQ all over the country and this was some of the best. I always try pulled pork as a comparison. Coleslaw and Baked Beans were delicious. Four different sauces available on the table. Service is friendly and quick.

Went for dinner with the family while we had company in town and the food and service was great! Eugene explained the menu and his favorites with us as it was our first time here! Food was out fast and it was delicious! Amazing service and food all around!
This was our first time here. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious, but my favorite was the jalapeno-cheddar grits. They were fabulous! Just a tip for those with food allergies- ask about the ingredients. I didn't ask, thinking I knew what was in everything. Later I spent time in the bathroom in penance. My fault entirely for not asking. We would eat here again and recommend it.

Quite possibly the BEST BBQ I have ever had! We LOVED absolutely every bite so much and we can’t wait to have lunch catered for our team! Such reasonable prices! And the customer service was TOP NOTCH! Eugene & Jordan made us feel so very welcome! And the suggestions they gave us were all truly wonderful! It’s nice to see that you can have good food at a fair price and still receive such fantastic customer service! Well done EUGENE and JORDAN! We will see y’all next month!
Eugene and Jordan took care of us. Bbq tacos on point. One turkey, one pork, one brisket, Carolina bbq sauce, cole slaw and some roasted corn. Top 5 bbq I've ever eaten. Pit beans were amazing too.

Great place to come for bbq! Had the brisket and turkey which were flavorful and the sauces were fantastic! What really sent this over the top were the sides. The jalapeño cheddar grits and coke slaw were out of this world! Eugene working the counter was great and answered any questions we had! Next time I’m in town I’ll definitely come back!
