I've sampled a lot of pizza in my time. All kinds of pizza. But, Pizza Underground, I say, is the most authentic, delicious pizza you can find. It's a gem within downtown Jefferson City, serving fresh ingredients, good people and pizza that tastes so fresh and mouth-watering, you'll think you cooked it yourself!The pizza, I literally devoured, was unlike any other I've ever experienced. The staff were very friendly and courteous.All in all, I would give this 20 stars, if I could. Pizza Underground, thank you for letting me experience pizza, in a way that I will remember, for a very long time!
This is a cute little place nestled in downtown Jeff City. They offer a good variety of homemade pizza and they have new flavors of cupcakes all the time! They do have adult beverages if your interested in that. It would be a good spot for most occasions. It’s accessible and the staff is phenomenal. You can really tell they put efforts into adding that special touch. They can also do take n bake or order to go which is nice! The appetizer cheesy bread is yummy- the only thing I’d do differently is to have warm marinara for dipping (it’s cold). We’ve thoroughly enjoyed both visits and plan to be back!
We've been coming to this family run place for a while and I've never had anything that I didn't like. The pizza toppings are fresh. That was my first thought as I was eating the "Lots of Toppings" pizza. Their pizza crust is made from Italian flour and you can taste the difference. The salads are large enough to share or make it an entire meal. It's all so good! We love this place!!
The pizza we ordered both looked exactly like what I think a pizza should; the crust was thin with air blisters and a little char on it and the toppings looked great. The sauce is very different than anything else in town with a unique and unusual sweetness. We all enjoyed it but some may not. This is definitely a stand out pizza joint in Jeff City.

Didn’t get a chance to try the pizza so can’t speak to that. Waited 30 minutes for the table they told us we were waiting for only to have a group of 20 something’s walk in, beers in hand, and be directed to sit there. Appeared to be friends of a worker/manager. Waited another 15 minutes standing around. They made no accommodations whatsoever to amend the situation. Finally just left.

Went out to eat with my family. First time I had ever been there. Loved the salad and the pizza. Very very good. The service was awesome. Will definitely go back.
Hello! Visiting from Tennessee!I got the Sriracha-Honey-Chicken.It was sooo good!The crust was light but a little chewy, and the flavor combo was awesome. Sweat with just the right amount of heat!The atmosphere was enjoyable and the music was loud enough to enjoy the good tunes but not drowningly loud! I’ll be back!
Pizza, like beauty, oft lies in the eye of the beholder. That said, as a Jefferson City native, I’ve grown up conditioned to hometown favorites. But now, the paradigm has shifted and the bar has been raised by my new favorite place for pizza in Jeff City: Pizza Underground.From a super-friendly staff, to a perfectly balanced caesar salad, to fresh meats and ingredients, to the best crust in town… THIS is the best pizza in Jefferson City. (Best Chicken BBQ Pizza I’ve ever had in my life—can’t go wrong with putting succulent strips of bacon on it). Cannot recommend enough!
