Lutz's catered the memorial service for my mother in law. The portions were generous and the food was excellent. We appreciate their help planning the meal.
I am so heartbroken that Lutz's is no longer in Columbia, but I'm more than happy to make the drive to Jefferson City for my Lutz's fix. The house-made chips are to die for (highly recommend the Cajun and sweet potato chips), the pulled chicken is always perfect, and the buns that they use for their sandwiches are incredible. I'm a big fan of their KC style sauce also. Lutz's is a huge win for central Missouri
Quaint little place next to a gas station.... but the flavor is top notch. Bbq perfection!!! Burnt Ends Are The Best EVER!!!
Food was decent but the service and attitude of the employees makes me question if I will ever eat at this location ever again... I've been eating at Lutz's BBQ way back when they had a small trailer on the side of Lowes but no more for me...
Lutz’s is great! My favorite is the brisket sandwich - huge, thick slices of the most tender brisket you ever had. Delicious and Awesome!

Good food, fast service. It's in a gas stations but it works for the restaurant.
If you haven't tried Lutz's BBQ, you must stop. And, don't forget to order their homemade chips with homemade seasonings. Also, the BBQ pork and burnt ends are my two favorite dishes.

The food was mediocre, at best. However, my issue with this place, was the prices. 1/2lbs pulled pork french fries and drink was almost $19. I could have gone less than a mile away to Texas Roadhouse, and got a Kansas city strip steak with sides for the same price. Will not be returning.
