Tried the strawberry and blackberry cobbler and I want a fan. The flavor/jelly fill tasted a bit funny. I was told it was really good, so I’ll give it another chance the next time I’m in town.
Excellent ice cream with unique flavor options. The apple pie ice cream and the gooey butter cake ice cream were delicious. However, the prices are somewhat prohibitive. We spent $17 for ice cream for two! A quart to take home is $11. Pricey. I hope they stay in business!gallon
You know, the ice cream was very good. The pints that I buy from my grocer, made me love them. Wife and I were taking a trip through Missouri and I follow these folks on Facebook (simply because of the quality of Ice Cream and supporting local) so wifey and I stop in. We were excited since we live in SW Missouri and don't get many opportunities to stop in "Jeff City".So as we walked into a very clean shoppe with the waft of brownie, they had the absolute worst person they could have working the counter. This young man had ZERO social skills, gave all monosyllabic responses and single handedly absorbed any excitement we had for visiting the Ice Cream Factory. The smell of brownies hit me in the face which made my brownie sundae selection easy. My wife showed outward excitement with the various flavors that weren't sold at our grocer. When he knew it was our first time in (and we were visibly excited) he said "cool" -flatly.No samples were offered (which could be a byproduct of a post Covid world) but he didn't even explain that. We made our orders, didn't recommend anything, didn't engage us, didn't really do anything except the bare minimum to do his job, he didn't even add the cherries to the sundaes.From their self marketing on social media and the excitement that they drum up for their product (which is excellent) it was very disappointing that our experience in their scoop shoppe was way below expectations in terms of service and brand excitement.
Amazing service and the ice cream was amazing ! So many flavors and all sooooo good.
I think the ice cream was yummy BUT I had a sundae made by a very disinterested staff member. She loaded the sundae with too much caramel sauce and a load of pecans. Overly sweet. The tables were not wiped down nor napkins refilled. My husband had a different type of sundae and had the same problem with too much topping. We will be trying the Central Ice Cream shop a block away.
OMG.I was suspicious of an ice cream place opening less than a block from the famed Central Dairy. Are they just trying to bleed off business? How good can they really be?A friend talked me into stopping, and...wow. The flavors SOUND amazing and then actually deliver. Gooey butter cake. Blackberry cobbler. Too many others to list. And they're DELICIOUS.They even have a low carb/keto option, which will definitely bring me back, even during dieting weeks.

We always leave the Ice Cream Factory with smiles on our faces. The 2 gentlemen who were working during our latest visit were so friendly and great with our 2 daughters. They allowed them to sample any of the flavors they wished before the girls made their choices, and I cannot recommend the Gooey Butter Cake ice cream enough. Truly a gem of Jefferson City
I liked this place, it was my first time. But it's like to say my order of a cookies and creme milkshake was kinda disappointing. Five minutes after I got it was already watered down liquid ?. I hope something gets a better one then I did.
This place rocks! I wish we lived closer so we could visit more frequently. Soooo many yummy flavors to choose from, it was tough to decide what to try. Super cute, clean little shop. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back when we are in the area.
