Came through the drive through today and waited 10 min for my food which is normal because they “make it fresh” but when I get home all my food was cold. I called up to the store to get it situated and the manager was simply rude. She wasn’t understanding of the situation and didn’t seem like she cared I got cold tenders and fries. We were a regular here but after this we’re no longer coming here.
I love slim chickens!! Their Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich is so good and so is their jar desserts. The service is always really good and the inside is nice
Food was amazing! But this is not a place to go if you’re in a hurry.. took them almost an hour to get our food out.
They say it takes a while as they prepare the food once you have ordered and it seemed like they had to catch the chicken, kill it and then cook it. However I think that must have occurred about a month in the past as the chicken was cold and tough. Never going back.
I went their on 4/27/2022 for my first time and was not satisfied at all. The food was cold and not worth the 25$ that i spent. This business will never get my hard earned money again, thank you Slim Chickens for ripping me off.
Cold and bloody chicken.. I almost threw up.. I look in the kitchen cooks back there dancing listening to music on there cell phones. I showed them the chicken.. she said what do you want me to do about it? REALLY? SLIM CHICKENS in independence never again..
On Wednesday, ask about their special deal. Let them know that Llucky sent you! I walked into big smiles with some fresh BOMB chicken fingers. Finger licking good. Open barn style dining room ketchup at ease.
I’ve tried to give this slim chicken location so many opportunities and each time they fail. I am an understanding person, but my patience runs out eventually. The first time they forgot a meal and charged me for it. The second time I found a long piece of blond hair in my food and now the chicken sandwich I received didn’t look thoroughly cooked. See the images below. How unfortunate.
We have driven by here many times but it had never been the right time to stop. Yesterday it was the right time and we were happy that it was. Food was hot and delicious. Chicken strips and wings with very light breading. There are numerous (15+) sauce choices and you can order your chicken tossed in sauce or on the side. We opted for on the side with Korean BBQ, Sweet Red Chili and Ranch. All were very good and we will try others and tossed in the future. Service was fast and thorough with Management oversight and intervention when needed. Overall very good and we wish we had one closer.
I choose Slim Chickens over raising canes for the simple fact that they offer pickup orders inside and out as well as dining in. Canes only offers drive through, with very long lines. No thanks. I love all of Slim's dipping sauces too.
