This is a tiny little enclave of pretty good Italian fare. We stopped by after an evening funeral service and enjoyed our meal. They didn't have my fave (pasta carbonara) and there was entirely too much Alfredo sauce on my husbands shrimp Alfredo (better too much than too little). If it at one time had any kind of historical or family significance this has been lost unless you try to contrive something from some of the old photos. But overall it was a much better alternative to the run of the Mill.
We went here on a Wednesday night with 7, was seated with in 5 mins, the server was great all of our food was the best.
Took my Mom for Mother’s Day lunch. It was phenomenal service, excellent food. Enjoyed it immensely. It’s a neighborhood place my mom and stepdad have been going to for years. In fact my wedding celebration party after we came back from Florida wedding was catered by this restaurant in 2007. Consistent quality of food and always friendly and knowledgeable servers who care about the customer experience. Thank you for being a staple and authentic place to go that has a warm neighborhood feel with stellar food and staff.
Best Italian restaurant in KCMO. Food and staff are exceptional. Clean, fast service and reasonable priced. Never had had a bad dish here. I recommend the ravioli as an appetizer and main course of Tortellini Gina or Chicken Spedni!!

I’ve heard how amazing this place was, so I had to try it. I got the Tour of Italy with a side Meatball. The lasagna was hard! The chicken spiedini was sooo dry and ZERO artichoke hearts. The meatball was good, but the sauce was literally TOMATO JUICE. Uhg ? Highly disappointed.
This place is wonderful and their service is great! It is my birthday and my grandparents aren't mobile anymore so I wanted to order to go so I could enjoy it with them. They went above and beyond. We are new to Salvatores so we weren't familiar with their hours. We drove up there to see if they had Togo menus since my grandparents have difficulty viewing online. They weren't open yet but did manage to speak to someone inside who offered an old menu to us to take home. It made the process so much easier! I sincerely appreciate them! The food was hot and delicious. It was packed and wrapped to avoid any leaks as well. If I could rate you higher I would! Thank you!

I never knew this place existed until I got to celebrate a friends birthday there. If you like Garrozos in Kansas , then you will love this place. They sing happy birthday in Italian. Very nice.
We come here every December for my step moms birthday dinner. She is a gourmet cook and she chooses this restaurant every year. The food is great and the ambience is amazing. I ordered the chicken spidieni.I probably butchered that spelling but I’m sure that you all know what I mean. They are famous for it.Food was delicious service was phenomenal. We had two tables with about 12 of us and one girl took on the whole lot of us. She did fantastic. I wish I would have gotten her name to give her a shout out.
