I was on the Red Robin Independence web site and clicked the link to "join the wait" was greeted by DJ. I ask to join the wait and DJ said they don't do reservations. I tried to explain I had clicked the link on the web site that's when DJ started getting very rude and raised his tone at me. There was no reason for him to be so rude.Your food is good but I will not support a company that treats customers like that.You just lost a long time loyal customer.
We frequent this location often. It is our family’s favorite restaurant and we have never had a problem. Until last night. Last night 7/10/22 my wife and I took our oldest son here for his birthday it’s all he wanted so instead of my large family 7+ people it was just us three we had the most horrific experience we have ever had in any restaurant. My son wanted to leave before he was even done his food due to the waitress constantly rolling her eyes and making dirty faces around the restaurant (it takes a lot to make a kid uncomfortable) she just didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all. I’ve been in the service industry. I understand it gets frustrating but you leave that in the back rooms and do not bring it out onto the floor. Then there was also these two girls running around going behind the bar and in the kitchen. I’m not sure if they work there and just had the day off but they were legitimately running through the restaurant and blocking the staff from getting in. Multiple times the staffed asked them to move and they would just run to behind the bar. It did seem as if towards the end of our visit the management did go talk to them but it was a while before that happened. Back to our personal table. The waitress came over to ask if we were still okay no less than 15 times we felt as if being there was an issue my son was still eating as she was asking if we just wanted a box. As if she had something better to do. It was very upsetting. She did bring him a small ice cream sundae when she heard it was his birthday and had her and whoever was near by sing to him. Absolutely nothing like the birthday song the other person there got no less then 20 minutes before. It was a horrible experience and we all left very upset.
Hostess with dark hair isn't very polite or happy. Asked twice if my online order was ready because my pick up time was 713 and it was 735. She went back to ask and then came out and didn't say anything. So I asked 2 other people and they never came back. As I was telling them to cancel it and refund my money they told me it was being bagged up. They forgot my ranch and honey mustard. Also with a restaurant having free refills on fries you would think my Togo food would have more than 10 fries and half of them were WET. One sandwich was cold.We came specifically for the fries. Poor customer service and NOT IMPRESSED by the food.Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.
Went a few weeks back for Mother’s Day, it was super busy, but even with the long-quoted wait time, it really didn’t seem to feel that bad. The staff were wonderful, and it was great seeing the manager, whom I’m assuming was the general manager, actually out on the floor assisting everyone and helping where needed. I do not remember our server’s name, which I wish I did because she was really sweet and friendly. It seems like she has been serving for a long time, and knew what she was doing. We look forward to our next visit as it’s one of my husband’s favorite restaurants.
Great food but especially great service. We were greeted and seated within 2 minutes. Our waitress Charisma served us with excellence. The refills for our bottomless floats and fries was waiting for us instead of the other way around. She checked on our table every 3-5 minutes as well as other tables around us. We left very satisfied and in return she was greatly rewarded for her excellent service.
Went to dinner at Red Robin last night… First we got there late, almost closing, they welcomed us and sat us… Charisma was our server… this young lady deserves a bonus, a day off with pay, but I can’t do all that so I will do this.. Maybe 3-5 minutes until officially closed and a party of 7 showed up and Charisma was asked if it was okay. She thought for a second and said sure. I know she was ready to go home… I tried to cash app her a few $$ and she said, wait for it, I appreciate that but I am just doing my job!!! What!?!? Imagine that not just doing it but wanting to and killing it!!! If you are eating out go to this tagged Red Robin whole team was amazing!
Waiter was extremely nice, very hip and the food was very good. I had the Avocado grilled chicken salad and the sunset lemonade and it was very refreshing. Also, the Poppin lemonade was definitely popping. Lol
I've not eaten at Red Robin in a couple year's. Took my kids there today and was not very happy. My sever was horrible. Never gave us straws. Finally after 10 minutes I went and got some from the bar. In the past when they brought us fries they brought us more. My kids inhaled the fries but we never got more. I asked for a well done burger no mayo add ketchup. I got a rare burger with mayo. I ate it because I knew I'd never see my waitress again as I never got a refill. Probably the worst service I've ever received! I use to wait tables in highschool. It's typical to stop back by the table to see if they need anything after receiving the food. We never got napkins because I only saw my server to bring us drinks and fries. Then our food, next the check. My sever was Madison.
Had about an hour wait to be seated. They were very busy. It was around dinner time on a weekend so that's kinda to be expected. The wait staff were definitely trying their best but with as busy as this location was, they should definitely have more staff. Our onions rings were good, but we had to send every appetizer plate back because they were all dirty Our meals was slow to come out and not the quality I expect from a red robin. The bacon on my burger was barely cooked. My garlic fries smelled like garlic but tasted like the regular fries. It wasn't bad food, just not as good as expected, especially for the price.
We went out for our friends birthday! We love the free burger on your birthday idea! It was pretty crowded our name had gotten skipped over so we did have to wait another 20 minutes on top of our 45 minute wait already. We sat down finally our waitress was speedy and very pleasant. She refilled our drinks and took our order very timely. I also order alcohol and it was very good. I even ordered a 2nd. We ordered just about everything from fried pickles to onion rings. Guacamole burger, scorpion burger, a wrap and 2 other sandwiches and a salmon sandwich. All came out very fast and together at one time! So happy we went here.
