While we didn't say anything about our food while there...Sorry to say but, the food was bad. It lacked seasoning. Poor quality meat. My steak was spongy. The chicken tasted freezer burnt. The rice was hard. Refried beans were old. Tasted like days old leftovers. Our waitress though, was very nice. We will not return.
Place was nice and clean, plenty of parking, delicious food, surprisingly good service, and reasonable prices. What more do you want?I did not have an occasion to use the rest rooms, but based on how clean the rest of the place was I would be shocked if the rest rooms weren't similarly clean.There's a full bar, too.The queso blanco was delicious, as were the cheese and onion enchiladas. The sweet tea was pretty good, too. I heard nothing but good stuff from the others at my table about their food.It appears that just like most other restaurants these days, they aren't fully staffed. But that didn't seem to affect the timeliness of the service, or the friendliness.I'm sure I'll be back again.
The food was so bad. The chips were old and stale on the nachos, and there was barely any chicken on my nachos. I order the catering nacho and they didn’t have the pans and gave me two regular sizes. There was no liquid cheese like the last time. I also ordered the new Birria tacos and they were trash compared to the ones I have ate off of a food truck supper salty plan manly cheese with a spoon of meat. the broth that came with the tacos, so damn salty your kidney will fail this is a slap in the face to the Mexican food culture I spent $48 dollars on can food ? that I didn’t even eat if you want real authentic Mexican food go to Hacienda vieja.I will never return here.
The whole place was really trashed. Almost all of the tables were still dirty and the floors looked just as bad. Our waiter was super slow. Never asked how our food was never asked if we needed refills. Took forever to get my debt card back and when he did finally come back with it he said he was taking care another tables but he only had a thing of chips in his hand. He should have taken care of me first. They lucky I was not manager there because I would been all over there backsides to get that place cleaned among some other choice words.
Dinner was a success, our server was Tori and she was great, so friendly, funny, and made sure to take care of any needs we had. I got the fajita salad, I wasn't overly impressed but the avocado dressing was very good. I also tried the street corn, I can see how it would be great but it was a bit salty for my (could just be my taste) chips and queso were great, the hubby created his own burrito that he said was amazing. Guacamole live was great as always.
So we had to wait to be seated because under staffed. And they were. Think they had 5 employees in whole restaurant. We had the only server. He has to make drinks too. Service was slow due to kitchen being short too. But I have to say despite all this going on every employee was polite...patient...and as efficient as possible. They let you know up front that it was going to be slow service but the did their best to make it a great experience. I give the staff 5 stars.
What an abysmal experience. Poor quality food, came out cold. Our server didn't check back w us after dropping off the food... so as I waited to have my meal corrected everything was cold and my date was almost finished eating. When she came back she reeked of cigarette smoke. Guess that ciggy was more important than service. I just didn't eat dinner that night. Shame.
Great experience on a rainy day! The guy we had as a waiter was so awesome!
We had awesome service and awesome $5 margaritas and $5 nachos from 3:00 to 6:00 Monday through Friday .
Food was nasty cold and horrible .
