Hadn't been in a few years. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety on the menu with some healthy choices available. The place was clean. The food was good, as was the service. I look forward to going back again.
Venue is large and roomy, trendy and modern interior and a huge plus for me....also neat and clean.Service was excellent. Our waitress was so patient:)My guy got the boneless wings and I got a cauliflower base small pizza.It was delicious!This is place is open until late on weekends, so it was very convenient for us as we weren't sure if any place would still be doing food at that time (past 10pm)We're happy we chose Old Chicago!
This location DOES NOT serve Chicago style pizza. When the waitress finally came, we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be noticed after being seated, she was very confused by our order and asking for and describing what Chicago style pizza is. She offered to ask the kitchen but we were not trying to have them re-invent the wheel back there and make special requests, so we headed out. Maybe the food is good but definitely not what the sign advertised.
Been in twice now bc the food is good but after tonight we sadly won’t be coming in. You walk in no one seats you, server takes about 10 minute to greet you then another 10 to get those drinks to the table. Took forever to get refills. Just bad service all over, finally food is out and they brought the wrong dish but before server even noticed he didn’t check in till 20 minutes after our food was brought out. Wasn’t even busy for our server to not be able to make sure we were fine.
It was my first time here after a comedy show. The food was really good and fulfilling. We had just ordered appetizers. The Italian Nachos, Buffalo chicken rolls and garlic cheese bread was Fire! We will be back. Not to mention it was only two waitresses and they were busting their butts to serve everyone.
So, I was definitely under the impression that they are understaffed which obviously means things aren’t going to go as smooth as they should. However, if the order is wrong and you have to take it back wait another 15-20 minutes to get your food back I feel like it should be heavily discounted. My husband ordered bone in wings and received boneless wings- I ordered a spinach salad that came out with no spinach at all it was all iceberg lettuce. I didn’t even eat half of it. They gave us a military discount of 10%off which only took $5 off. The wings themselves were $26. I’m sorry but that’s trash. I of course tipped my waitress a little over 20% of the original bill but I would’ve tipped more if he had tried a little harder to compensate for the inconvenience. Just be better.
Came in with high expectations after a good experience at another location. This was terrible. Waited forever to even be talked to by our server. Then sat for an hour waiting for food even though the restaurant was not very busy. Our appetizer was completely forgotten and my daughters macaroni was cold. My husbands pizza was drowned in grease and slightly burnt and my pizza was nearly cold as well. My husbands drink sat empty for a long time. I was disappointed with the food and the service. We will not return.
I just left your place not to long ago I had it was not up to my expectations and what I mean by that is it was dirty my table was sticky it had some random things on seat and I found a brown hair under the salt shaker then the food came out and it looked like it would be delicious but it turned out to be nasty my pizza had so much cheese that one got stuck in my throat and it wouldn’t go down so I had to pull it out myself all of my toppings on my pizza fell off the only thing that stayed on my pizza was the little bit of Pizza sauce on it my little brother didn’t even want to eat the pizza he took one little bite and never touched it again, I had really high expectations for you guys but what I had and saw today was not it. And my wings tasted funny and my ranch was soupy. Look at these pictures this is unacceptable!!!
When I entered Old Chicago I had in mind a deep dish pizza. I was surprised to find the only deep dish was more of a pan pizza called the Detroit Pan. The service was good and the server was quick to explain the difference in their crusts. I think that the prices are terribly high for their pizzas. If you call yourself old Chicago and serve pizzas you should have a deep dish.
Huge shoutout to the staff at Old Chicago!!!! Had a great meal last night and unfortunately I forgot my Debit Card on the table after I paid for it. What can I say, had a good time...nonetheless, called back this morning and they had it. Checked my bank account and no purchases were made with it, the staff just put it in lost and found and continued on....ya'll rock. Thanks so much...we will be back.
