They helped everyone on one side of drive-thru before helping anyone on the other side. I guess i thought they maybe rotated?? Customer service sucks in this store. No smiles no thank you's. To many young people that haven't been taught to work..Pretty sad world we live in these days. They expect everything for nothing.
Drinks machine was broken. Just wanted fast breakfast and they had no drinks. Guy taking orders didn't know what sauces they had for the breakfast burrito. Just overall a poor experience. It's McDonalds maybe I expected too much.
Was sad to find out the play place was closed. It's like the only one in independence that has one so it was upsetting to my kids that it was closed at 7pm. Also my daughter spilt a small amount of water on the floor and the manager made a big deal out of it and was kinda snarky. Do better mcdonalds, do better. That is all
This has always been a good place. But today, I sat in the drive thru for 10 min. So I go inside and nothing but caius! Slow service except for the girl waiting on either a boyfriend or an off duty worker. She made sure he got his order before the 7 if us waiting for ours. Then the workers acted like they hadn't a clue what they were doing. The female manager was running around basically doing everyone's job. Finally after a LONG wait got my food which wasn't right so instead of waiting another 10 minutes I just left Very sad. I wont be going back here. Seems most of these area McDonald's has very bad service anymore.
I will say I don't expect much out of a fast food place by any means but they forgot one of my sandwiches and the sandwich we did get was made wrong. It also was so dry had hardly any sauce and the bun was so smashed it was basically flat. It was so disappointing we went to get our money back from the store.
I placed a mobile order on the app and went through the drive thru. My order included a free birthday treat, and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed when the employee wished me a happy birthday. That’s pretty great service. I’ll definitely be visiting this restaurant again!
This McDonald's has the worst service in the city. I've gone there 5 times in the last 6 months, but the experience never improved.I received cold food from the drive-through at least twice. I had missing items at least once. The one time we went there for ice cream, the ice cream machine was down. One time, when I ordered a McChicken with cheese, the person taking my order at the drive-through window responded. "Did you say McChicken with cheese? What the hell is up with all these McChickens with Cheese".The final straw was yesterday. There was a small line and I went to the second speaker in the drive-through. I waited a good six minutes and never received any service at all. I called out "Hello!", no response. Two other cars were able to give their order at the other speaker. When the third began placing their order, I drove off. I will not be back.
My order is always accurate and served hot. The bathrooms have always been nice and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the coke is so crispy you could fry a fish in it.
Even when it looks like the drive through line is long, it moves quick. The older lady that works the drive through in the mornings is always great. Haven't had a messed up order here yet.
I go there quite often. Made lots of friends this McDonald's on 24 Highway and 291 is the best McDonald's to ever go to all the people are nice and there are ready to talk to you no matter what. A nice place to have lunch and a person across from you add another table starts talking to you as if you were a friend. A lot of other McDonald's don't do this or other places like Wendy's Taco Bell none of them have the friendliness of the customers
