I ordered two meals for curbside pickup and got a confirmation email saying the food would be ready by 6:46. I got to the restaurant at 6:55 and checked in on the phone. We waited about 10 minutes and nobody came out so I sent my brother in to ask for the food and they said it wasn’t ready yet so he waited. He asked a couple more times and nobody knew anything about the order. 20 minutes went by and the food “wasn’t ready” until my brother pointed out a bag the employees had just sitting on a counter on their side. This is when they noticed that was our order. We waited almost 40 minutes for food that was sitting in the counter waiting to be picked up. Nobody came to the car nor told my brother about it until he asked what that was after waiting for so long. Unacceptable
Me and the Mrs. both had choose 2. Young man taking our order courteous, good eye contact. Repeated order to get it right. Got food in a timely manner. While we were there a special needs person came in and staff did not hesitate to make sure he was taken care of properly. Nice to watch. Should be proud. Nothing but good here. Thank you.
We've gone here 3 times over the past year hoping for it to be better each time and each time it's worse. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, all for a mediocre run of the mill sandwich (seriously, a PB&J made at home would be just as filling and tasty as this place is). The employee's taking our order have always had a bad attitude. You could literally pick any other sandwich place in the area (Subway, Jimmy John's, Firehouse, etc.) and get a bigger and better sandwich with more meat on it for a lower price.
I give credit where credit is due, and the food at McAlister’s Deli is good when made correctly. Today, they forgot my avocado, my chips on the side, AND the chips in my sandwich for the Jalopeno Turkey Crunch we’re not there.On top of that, there seems to be no understanding of the length of the line with how many employees are on registers. There were at least 12-13 people there and only 1 person on the register, with at least 15-20 people in line. It took me 20 minutes to order when there were only 8 people in front of me. At least open the 2nd register so everyone can get their orders in.Originally, McAlister’s was one of my favorite places to go when I first found out about it. But every visit since then has been more disappointing than the previous.
Great seasonal strawberry salad, vegetable chili, and baked potato with toppings. Can eat healthy here although also has dessert and sweet tea. In and out fast. Counter service but Staff very attentive. Usually have about 4 staff stop by while eating to check if we need anything. They also do a lot of pickup and catering.
2nd time they have shorted my order. I guess it's my own fault for not checking the bag. Plus the food was cold after waiting 20 extra minutes. I normally love their food, not so much tonight.
It took 30+ mins to order and get our food. Then the small portions we got was definitely not worth the $20 I spent. Half a sandwich and soup. The half of the sandwich was tiny like a slider smh and the soup was alright and very small oz bowl. Then the quality was decent but not worth the wait or money. No spoon in the bag to eat my soup and no napkins. Wish I could get my $20 back. Never again.
I placed an online order and it took me 20 minutes to get to the restaurant and I got to the counter about two minutes before Google told me that the order would be ready and the guy said oh it’s going to be another 10 minutes and so I waited another 20 minutes and then I went back up to the counter and the manager came up to me and said oh I’m sorry you’re still the eighth person in line to get your order and so I’m pretty unhappy with the level of service all I ordered was steam broccoli and a simple sandwich that somebody could’ve thrown together pretty quickly and the staff should not tell me it’s going to be 10 minutes for my order passed the time that it was supposed to be ready and then I wait 20 more minutes and it’s still not ready and then be told that I’m eighth in line that is ridiculous
We ordered Ultimate Nachos and a Spud to go. There was almost no toppings in our bag. Paid nearly $10 for a box of broken nacho chips, no cheese.My Spud that I ordered sour cream on had none, there were 3 small crumbs of bacon, barely any cheese.Sad that the food gets worse every time we go.
