Very disappointed. I ordered a full order of fish with sides. I got 5 pieces of CATFISH, I ordered Whiting. The fish and mushrooms were bitter and tasted like they had been fried in old grease.The okra wasn't too bad just cold and tough
Delicious comfort food. Reminded me of my grandma’s cooking. Red beans and rice, collard greens, green beans and corn fritters were to die for. Great fried catfish. I’ll be coming back
Fish was horrible!!! Spent $35 for two Half dinners and couldn't even eat the fish. Very chewy and disgusting. Side were good Mac and cheese, corn nuggets, collard greens and hush puppies... I won't be going back though.
I really didn't want to leave a review for these smoked thighs that they serve at Luftis, out of sheer greed, and fear that there won't be any left when I pull up. But I thought I better make this public service announcement for the better good of my community. IF you are thinking about ordering the new chicken thighs on the menu: PLEASE have your bail money ready!!! As You WILL slap everybody in close proximity to you because they are SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!
The food was cold as they said it wasn’t ready yet but was under the warmer the whole time. The pieces of fish are extremely small and the bread was molded!
I ordered the 8 piece fish dinner and I received 4 pieces of fish. I asked why 4 pieces instead of eight and I was told they are shaped different and 4 count as 8. I think it’s wrong, 4 pieces is four pieces specially when they are still in small size. They need to tell the customer ahead of time about “their new fish size”. Wrong, wrong, $19.57 for 4 small pieces of fish and a little be of frena fried is not worth it!!!!!!?
I had the Comback Meal which came with three pieces of fish, bread, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I got the red beans and rice as a side. I put some tartar sauce on the bun, made a sandwich with the fish. Wow. I smoked this thing. It was awesome. Lots of flavor. The red beans and rice were awesome. This was my first trip here. I would recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a quick fish/seafood lunch or dinner. Nicely done. The people were friendly, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Nice place top to bottom. Lightyears better than any fastfood join in the area.
Horrible!!!!!!!! I literally threw away over 80$ worth of food I didn't even wanna give it away to the homeless salty salty salty shrimp is horrible do try the pasta it was gross salty shrimp thrown on top with the shell on fish was just crust no fish meat inside sides was ok I guess and to think I only came in for the wings and they were out smh they really need to train their cooks because I wasted money on a whole mess! Oh and this was on Tuesday 2/8/2022
I really can't believe the amount of food you get for your money. This place is robbing people. I paid almost $12 for a three piece of white fish and bread. The pieces of fish are only about as long as my pinky finger. Seriously in disbelief. This business owner should be ashamed.
I’ll definitely come back. First time customer. Two people working today , great attitude and laughter between themselves and included me. The restaurant was super clean and the staff helpful and warm. The food was ok for fast food. But, Food taste better when the experience is good.
