The margaritas were great. Food was good. Was my first time there. Will go back again.
Excellent choice for authentic Mexican food. The menu selection is abundant, prices were affordable, and the portions were large. The restaurant decor was pleasing making for a relaxed dining experience. The Staff was also friendly and helpful.
God forbid something is wrong with your order because apparently the customer is always at fault. I have never tried this restaurant and wanted to give it a shot but definitely shouldn't have. Poor customer service, lady at the desk pretty much assumed I was lying and had me in my car crying. All it was a simple order mix up and she got very rude with me. Didn't have a chance to taste the food but don't want to with her attitude either.
This place had delicious authentic tex-mex food. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was a 10 on service. The food was perfect. Very nice location and everything was decorated beautiful. Very clean. Thank you so much.
Food was simply OK. Nothing fancy. Service was sub optimal, but nothing to complain about. While I enjoyed my meal, I probably won't go back.
Literally the BEST Mexican restaurant in Independence and any surrounding area! Best food, margaritas, and staff around! Highly recommend

Thank you to the other Google reviews that gave Los Compas good reviews. Only in town for 1 night and picked it based on reviews. We were very happy with our selection. The free chips were light and crispy. The salsa was a blended variety and had good flavor. We both enjoyed our chimi and burrito. The refried beans and rice were delicious and had good texture. Would stop again if ever in town.
The food was good, margaritas were good, dessert was delicious! Our server was super friendly and very attentive.
Main complaint is money. They charge for any little modification. If you want things slightly different than the menu they will charge. If you want to substitute one ingredient for another they charge. An order of simple nachos and veggies can be more expensive than the fully loaded nachos. It's crazy! It has happened to me on multiple occasions so I am not coming back.
