Ordered 2 fish and cole slaw, got half a cup of slaw and skinny fish and my fish had a bite out of it! $9.xx
They shorted me 6 coleslaw cups and a 2 piece fish without any crispy crunchies but I ordered EXTRA crispies. The line was long and they food was mediocre. I hate that about this place considering Long John Silver is one of my faves
Very slow. Waited in drive thru for 20 min. Then got to the window and got told to pull around to the side of the building to wait another 20 min. For our food. We only ordered 2 combo meals. Completely ridiculous. I will not be returning. This place needs to get it together.
The fries were cold and soggy but the fish and chicken was hot and fresh Except they shorted me 2 orders of fried clams. I did not notice until I got home. So i just let it go.
Well it's long John's good fish. Only a few left in kansas city kinda costly bout the same price as fried chicken. Also it has a a&w root bear with it. They have good thick burgers and root bear is good. It's good I will go back
The girls in the front were sweet and working hard. The cooks in the back were talking about rolling and smoking joints and saying f this and f that. Store was just dirty and dingy.I will say the fish was hot and cooked well.
Closed before posted time online,made it there 20 minutes before that time,all the lights are still on,sat there at the intercom saying hello for five minutes with no response,my wife calls there number still nothing,annoyed we decide to just go somewhere else,and as we pull around here's a few employees going out the back,my wife who usually keeps her clam did get angry,and asked why no one answered and why they were closed,we got fed a really lame excuse about weather messing their power(it was barely sprinkling outside).Its annoying when someplace closes early yes,I get if your tired also,but at least answer, and don't put out really weak lies.It just makes you look lazy!
We went here for Root beer floats but the ice cream maker was down and the root beer we ended up getting was weak and tasted like carbonated water with a hint of root beer flavor I'm not going to give a full review until I get other items from this location so for now this is all I have to say
I really enjoy Long John Silver's but often times the food is a long wait. I was fortunate enough to have a very pleasant experience with a clearly new employee named Elizabeth. My food was quicker than usual and I had a pleasant experience with an obviously new but enthusiastic and energetic employee. As a business owner for 25 years, this is the sort of employee you keep for the long haul and make sure you keep them happy enough to stay. Because if you don't, plenty of the rest of us will.-Uranus
Place has really improved. Great shift manager at lunch working with a new employee who was really sharp & kind. Fish so good as was shrimp!
