No complaints to much. food was delicious the service was great. Only thing could have asked was that the tables were cleaned off a little bit more. But definitely worth going to to eat at.
I came from CA and I’ve gone to the Golden Corral over there and I came into this one and I didn’t see the food pleasing and dishes were disgusting . Food looked like it was sitting there for a while and I just didn’t feel like eating here. I asked the manager if I can get my refund back only and not my family’s since they already served them selves. He was nice enough to give me the refund but he asked me to leave the restaurant. I find it REALLY disrespectful how I couldn’t be inside with my family. I didn’t find there food pleasing or anything …. I DIDNT WANT TO EAT THERE! I told him that he can watch me to see if I eat food if that’s the issue but he said I have to leave the building. SO RUDE! I can’t even spend time with my family in this restaurant who I came to see if I’m not spending money to eat ! Once again , I am not going to spend money to enter a place I wasn’t going to eat in…. Why couldn’t I just sit there with them??? Now all my family is uncomfortable eating inside without me because they aren’t going to ask for a refund when they had already started eating. I came here for them! And now I’m stuck in the car. I wouldn’t even give this place another chance EVER! And best believe my family won’t be coming here or throwing parties here or anything . What if I was vegetarian????? What if I don’t like buffets but only came to spend time with family for a birthday or graduation…. Yea no thanks.
My spouse and our three children went here yesterday evening for dinner and it was simply disgusting. What food was available was cold and inedible. Paid $60 for this place and all of our stomachs hurt immediately. My husband threw up in the parking lot right after it was so gross. I can order Long horn steak house for $12 bucks more to go and it is the best food ever. We will never return to this location. This location needs to be inspected immediately before someone dies from their food. You charge too much for such unacceptable food and service. Showering is not a requirement for employment at this Independence Golden Corral. It should be shut down like yesterday! One star given due to having to give at least one star. Truly zero stars folks, save your money and lives!! Stay away!
This particular location does not have automatic doors for wheelchair accessibility. My brother whom lives in a nursing home wanted me to take him for lunch. So happens everyone wanted the experience of Golden Corral last month. This time I decided against it.I was told by the manager on duty,"that you have to eat if your coming in." "But this time I will allow you too come in." My concern is how does one enjoy an outing if you are in need of physical assistant but, the assistant is not allowed to come in unless you're going to eat?
There was an full pan of burnt black bacon. I showed the manager a couple of slices on my plate. He said I should've showed him sooner. I'm thinking sooner? Sooner than when? The honey dew melon and cantaloupe were to hard. What upset me the most is that my lemonade from the dispenser was horrible. We wont be back to any Golden Corrals again.
Very good buffet everything was hot and delicious. Waitress was excellent and friendly.
Hadn't been to Golden Corral in yrs due to none in our area in New England. Was surprised to see that they only have buffet and no menu any longer. Restaurant was grubby and staff was rude starting with lady at register. Male supervisor was creepy with staff. Most of the buffet food was old or had film on things. Grille staff acted as if serving steaks was an inconvenience and ignored us for several minutes. Bathrooms were disgusting. Have to say only our waiter showed any friendliness or any positive emotions.Will not be returning to this location anytime soon....

Met some friends there and surprisedly we got comfortable price because of day and time .Selections were nice also.Chicken needs some people who know how to cook some chicken ...Not impressed but still enjoyed the food Our group noticed No Black workers visible....Is that a tradition? A dozen of us there and not one could recall seeing a Black employee before....,
I tried it again for breakfast. Definitely not the same as it was before Covid. Plates were dirty and food no flavor. Always get plastic cups; they need to buy either new plates and cups; OR a new dishwashing machine. Carpet and tables were clean; serve is good. Sorry, Won't be back even if it was free.
