It was kind of busy and our food took longer than usual. And it was fine I didn't mind waiting. But what I did mind was that our waitress was not very attentive. She didn't check on us not one time while we waited on our food. Never asked us if we needed anything or to apologize for the long wait and to reassure us that I food would be come soon. Her customer service skills could use some improvement. One of the dishes came with eggs she didn't ask how would we like them cooked so when the food came out it was sent back because the eggs were runny. Never have ordered that dish before so we didn't know that it comes like that. But if asked she would have known how we wanted them prepared. That new Pineapple drink was amazing though.
Experience was great. Food was on point. Staff was being respectful. We came from out of town. Mr. Gavin was our waiter and did an exceptional job. ? I also paid attention to the other waitresses as I once worked in the food industry and, they too, were doing a great job. Will definitely stop by here again as we make a couple trips around the KC area.
We tried this place for the first time and were not disappointed. The selection of food looks so amazing I couldn’t decide what to try. Landed on a potato scramble (I can’t remember what it’s called) and it was DELICIOUS. I will definitely be back to try other menu items!
Nothing to complain about at all. I am normally a creamer and sugar in my coffee kind of girl; here I drink it black no sugar. So yummy. The food always delicious. Service is always on top of their game..
Online said we couldn’t join the wait list because there was no wait l, arrive 30-40 minute wait. We waited the 40 minutes and we told we were still 4th in line. We placed a to go order and we got our food to go before we ever got called for a table, we took our to go and ate in the car. I spoke to the manager who was like “yes yup, okay sounds good.” No service recover etc. We will drive longer and go to The Shack in the future.
Been here twice and it's been wonderful. All the staff is gracious and helpful. Our waitress forgot waters (they were VERY busy) but a second waitress was very kind to grab water's and extra condiments for us. The team seems to work together very well.First watch is my favorite place to eat in KC. Almost everything on their menu is incredible. I got the Floridian French Toast for the first time and it was mout watering good. Definitely in my top menu items.If you like breakfast food as much as me and you appreciate fresh and healthier, you simply must try first watch.

It's worth the wait. I have always had great service at First Watch and the food is very good. Always good food here.
Very Good Service & Very Good Food
Food here is constantly good with great choices. I was taken aback that "add ons" in an omelet are 1.79 each....for less than 1/4 cup each of spinach, mushrooms and onion, it added almost 6.00 to my omelet! Needless to say, I won't do that again! Service here is good, and First Watch is one of my "go-to" places for a healthy, delicious and well served meal. I've never had a bad meal here...enjoy!
