Server was fast and friendly. We loved the hot tamales, deluxe burrito & tacos! First visit and we’ll definitely return!
Super friendly service and atmosphere! We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Our server was fast and friendly and kept our drinks full. The food was great and reasonably priced! All you can eat tacos are the way to go! The tamales are great too! My kiddos ordered taco salad, chili dog (which is HUGE!) and hubby had all you can eat tacos. They kept the tacos coming! The portions of all their meals are huge!!!! We will for sure be going back.
Great atmosphere staff and food!
Food is always excellent!! I mainly go for the all you can eat tacos an it always hits the spot! Just recently found out tho the price went up from $7.99 to $9.99 and service there is great to the servers are always friendly an on point with making sure you get your food on time an keeping your beverages refilled when need be. It's a Local favorite.
This place is awesome. If you go home hungry then it is your fault.
For a place famous for chili they surprisingly have more people going for the tacos. Could you get a better taco? Yes, but for all you can eat they hit the spot.
I get the tamale spread and it's delicious. I love how u can fix and eat anyway u choose. An old Independence staple and a must try for KC visitors

The all you can eat tacos are amazing and you can never go wrong with them. The service is always amazing and the staff are so friendly. It feels like home and the cooking tastes like it. Been going here all my life and always will.
This place has been around for over a century, opening in 1919. Always get tamale and chili and it never disappoints. You can have your chili juicy, soupy or dry, with or without beans, among many other add-ons. They don't just serve chili but when you go to a place with the main course in the name with 100+years behind it, you usually can't go wrong.
