Order taker cold and indifferent. Food was excellent but way to high at fast food for family size you get a pint of slaw that's not famil_ size. I asked for ketchup I got 5 packets for 4 orders of fries. Need some coupons
My food was not hot, it was warm. It took me 5 minutes to get home and eat. I was very disappointed because it's been 2 1/2 years since I've ate here and I don't see myself going back
Their fish is always fantastic, Not too oily and always flakey. As for sides, their okra is very good. And I usually don't care for Okra. All the other sides I have are very good also. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic, Is all my wife and I can say about this resturaunt! They cook everything fresh, and it is exactly what I pay for each and every time! This should be the way that all cooked fish restaurants operate. Cant say enough about their service, product, and overall experience. If ever my wife and I are going out for fish, this is the only place we go in KC. No other restaurant comes close to price and quality. 2 Thumbs up! ??
Staff was friendly, food was good, I personally prefer long John silvers hushpuppies, wife said tarter sauce was nasty. Their ice tea needs more sugar. Fast friendly service deserves 4 stars alone.
Have enjoyed the fish, shrimp and love the green beans for over 8 months at this Independence location.Until today !!! New Cook??2 of my 3 pieces fish was uncooked. Not opaque as should be,and the hush puppies were also under done.Tried calling location, mailbox full lol
Thought we'd give this place another try. The food wasn't very good to me. Everything kinda tasted the same.The lady who waited on us was nice and got our food right out.
I loved the staff! They were so kind and friendly! The food was great as always. I miss Captain D's being closer to home but we'll be going here at least twice a month because it was awesome. I loved the homey feeling there. Don't ever update! ?

One of the few fast food seafood places still around. They do fish better than some sit down restaurants. Good variety of entrees and sides. Always been fast and good and friendly staff. If dine in, never had a long wait, if order online always had it ready.
