Favorite restaurant to always have a meal. Great menu selections and drinks galore. Order is completed in 15-20 minutes pending order size. Quite busy at peak hours but still worth the wait.
This experience wasn't a good. In the past our food has been delicious. During this visit it was not. The rice tasted old and greasy. Needless to say that we were very disappointed ?.
I ordered a whole order of Jumanji Rice with a side of gravy. When I opened my food, I could tell they gave me a different rice combination. This rice had crab meat in it. Definitely not what I ordered. So disappointed. My order was $15.00 to not get what my mouth was watering for. I know things happen but it happened to me at the other location as well. Of course when I called back, they didn’t answer. But they would have told me to bring my food back. I don’t have time and gas is too high. ??
First time....made the mistake of going on a Sunday. Lounge next door was popping. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 15- 20 minutes. When I entered I was told they were not taking walk in orders. It was after 7pm. There was actually a couple at the counter that had to call in their order, instead of it being taken at counter?? I watched someone walk in afterwards and order? I was told they were waiting on one item for my order, 30- 40 minutes later I had to inquire if it was ready, what do you know.....it was, lol. Staff friendly. Food not bad. I may try the other location, but not this one. Refrigerator/cooler leaking and water on the floor.
The pork fried rice was ok. The pork egg foo young tasted HORRIBLE like it was cooked last week and frozen because it's on the "special" menu. The gizzards were ok. The egg roll wasn't that great either?The most unfortunate thing is I'm from out of state and I usually look forward to eating authentic St. Louis Chinese food
The food is delicious but the service is extra slow smh
CHECK YOUR FOOD... ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A LARGE ORDER...SPENT OVER 60 DOLLARS IN FOOD ONLY 4 ITEMs purchased ...called around 630pm mind you they closed at 10 picked my food up at 7ish so not long before they close any how I dropped the food off at home to kids and 60+ year old mother who had not made it there because she is a nurse and didn't not get off til 730 and was the 1 to suggest getting this food...needless to say we didn't get the pork fried we order and paid for we got dry chicken fried ?...(the flavor is not the same as the pork fried?)....when I called back today at 120 because I didn't notice til I got home later that night they where closed...they told me I should have checked my food before I left and called back the same day..also asked if i still had the food???wtf....wow?so I'm supposed to expose my food to make sure it's right ...tell my kids and mother not to eat because some one behind the counter may or may not given us the wrong food?..we order from here all the time and I'm beyond disappointed...we will not be back...they didn't offer anything for thier mistake....food usually good here but that chicken fried was flavorless ?
To start I did not receive my full order. However, I was still charged as if I did. And the food was extremely greasy and tasteless. I was shocked to see, just how far the ball / bar had dropped. I still went ahead and gave 2 stars in rememberance of what once was. I really hope they get it together.
Paid $12 for seafood noodles that was literally a piece of fake stick crab cut up in it and maybe 5 tiny shrimps. Got a combo plate and with it I got an egg roll. They put the egg roll into the container with the combo plate and it was soggy and disgusting so can’t eat that. They really just did such a bad job on all of our food. They did not read modifications at all, also paid extra for pork fried rice in the combo plate and nope it was plain. Their prices are outrages for how they prepare food. Not to mention all the sauce and nasty grease in the bottom of our bag.
1) Undercooked chicken!2) Incorrect items in order!3) Cold Egg Rolls!We usually go to the other (8000 block Lindbergh) but selected the incorrect on on Google.Never again! From the other reviews, this one is a resounding NO!
