My husband and I ordered two full servings of lasagna and I also had a salad. The server was at first ok you could tell she was somewhat stressed but we shook that off. When our lasagnas arrived they looked great. However, one bite in and they were like warm at best. We had to flag the server down and she treated us as if it was our faults for the coldness of our food. We asked her to send them back to the kitchen to make them hotter. She took them and after a few minutes came back and said it would be awhile for them to come back. We asked if that was like 10 min etc and she said that all the other orders had to be made so more like 30 plus minutes. We didn’t have time nor wanted to wait for that so we said we would take the check for what we did have (2 drinks and the salad). She brought the check and was charging us for the two lasagnas that we didn’t get to eat. She was surprised that we didn’t want to pay for their mistake. It was a very unpleasant and embarrassing experience.
I have been going to Pirrone's for 20 years. I have never had a bad meal here. We had the salad with a lot of meats. It was delicious. We had a large pepperoni pizza, always good. Our waitress, Sarah has worked here for 24 years. She is very nice and a very good waitress.
I had heard about this restaurant for some years and it was finally my time to try it out. Wow! First off the venue is a bit hard to locate because of their dark glass windows. It looks more like a pool hall or bar. But when you walk in what can only be described as a “Hollywood Italian restaurant set for a tv show,” is a adorable. I literally felt like it was a pop up restaurant! The service was 5 stars! Our waitress was top notch with her smile and recommendations. We ordered meatball appetizers and their style pizza. Yes it’s Saint Louis style which is thin crust with a variety of cheeses on top but teas delicious! Everything was nice and their sauce for my meatballs was absolutely nice.
This restaurant has been a favorite for years. The food is excellent great service and generous servings.Pizza thin crust and delicious. Pasta dishes great taste and salad with house dressing excellent.
After I ordered a pizza for pick up at the very end of the call the young lady told me the price and said it would be 45 minutes. I said OK thank you that was the end of the call. I waited about 10 minutes and then went up to Peroni‘s Pizza in Florissant. I sat in my minivan for over half an hour and then got out and went up to the door for carry out. I asked the lady in a car said it says employees only what’s going on. She said it’s curbside only.So I went into the dining room door and asked for the manager and the lady manager came up and I explained to her and she said at the end of a recall we tell them it’s curbside only I said no you don’t because you didn’t she said yes we do she said 95% of the time we always say that and I go really ago I wasn’t informed she said we tell everybody I said well that would be 100%. I said you lied to me and I said I do not want your pizza I don’t even want your business anymore and I’ve been in Florissant for probably 40 years. I’ve had Perrone‘s many times and it’s a shame that they cannot tell you correctly on the phone. Good food, horrible horrible service and lied to . I would not eat there if I were you. Go to Roberto’s it’s better Pizza anyway
I love their pizza. Had been looking for a good pizza since moving back here after years in Chicago. Found average and blah, but no really good pizza. Then my sister recommended Pirrone's and I finally had a pizza I can love. The staff are so nice and always friendly. The toppings are fresh and abundant. My go to pizza! ?
This afternoon we visited and were there 3 hours. Had a 1 hour wait (no one ahead of us). Waited forever to get waited on. Food took forever. Sent my pasta back as it was too cold. one pizza never did come out and one order.of pasta came out as the rest of the party was finished eating. I would recommend closing instead of trying to get by with just a few staff. We come from Illinois and we won't be back.

BEST T-ravs and Fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had, the salads looked amazing. Everything was amazing ? they said they were short staffed but service was still amazing. Defintly will be back!
