they are terrible they don't refund your money if they mess up your food!
I'm born and raised in Brooklyn ny and to call this a ny grill is sad I'm a truck driver I stoped by here at 1030pm and the lady was disrespectful saying shes not taking my order when they close at 11 I even offered a tip if they take me and she said she made more then my tip an hour and kicked me out I love black businesses but for some fake ny southern accent having people it's a joke.
Just had 2 of the NY Gyro’s, they were amazing! Had a ton of meat on them. Staff was friendly and food was ready when promised!
Food was really good. Service was very slow at line 9pm on a Tuesday. 45 minute wait
They don’t wear gloves in the kitchen, they pick your food up with their hands and just dump it on your plate. I’ve seen it every time I come inside and I’m not exaggerating. It’s not sanitary.
Ordered a shrimp and catfish nuggets plate and the shrimp, fish, and fries were all bland I mean no kind of salt on any of the food. The catfish nuggets tasted like old, nasty, greasy fish. That food was so disgusting and after waiting 85 minute’s for it to be delivered. Will never order again!
Ordered pick up ahead of time as I was attending a seminar at umsl and even tipped. I got a text saying the food was ready at 11:59 and I get there at 12:05 and they tell me the food is being made then 20 minutes later they tell me apparently somebody picked up my order at 11:43 before I got the confirmation text so after an hour and half of waiting and having to show them my order again and my card I ordered with they finally agreed to re-make it. I’ve been coming here for two years and they are typically on top of their stuff but this was a horrible experience.
I ordered on the phone today and they just asked for my number and the food I wanted and that it would be ready in 15-25 minutes. When i showed up they kept asking for my name but I told them they only asked for a number when I called it in and they said they couldn't find the order.. I

I just placed an order and spoke to the most professional, friendly person. I have missed this kind of service. I didn’t hear her name, but they have a JEWEL with this one.
