On a recent trip. I got A 20 piece boneless wing. Which war of them was so hard as a rock. And several more extremely tough. This is not my first order. I’ve never gotten chicken that away. When I called to speak to the manager I was told that I could bring them back into the store. WhichI guess I could have that I live 15 miles away. It was not willing to make the trip back at that time. Long story short I will not ever go back to Zaxby’s.
In a chicken strip challenge with 11 restaurants, Zaxbys blew the competition away. For flavor and price (we chose not to eat sauce for the competition), they were by far the best!
The food is about the only good thing about this location. Staff is rude and inattentive. I dined in the other day and the lobby was empty and quiet. When I walked up to the counter the girl standing there did not acknowledge me at all. Change your closing time on Google from 10pm to 9pm. Got turned away at 9pm after two cars in front of me were served. Also, food is excellent but toast is spongy and not done on both sides.
I had to add this review since Zaxby is one of my favorite goto restaurant and I really hope that they will do better.I just drove 15 minutes to take out a lunch and drove 15 minute back to my office only to realize that there is no dressing again. This is such a disappointing experience. This does not happen just today. Many times, if I don't pay attention and I order zalad, they are going to NOT give me the dressing as long as I don't check. It is fine if I'm at home and it is not if I'm in office.It is not my responsibility to remind them every time. It is their job. It's such a small easy and no challenging task: give the customers the dressing!Their staff do not know how to say thank you either over the drive through. Every time, I feel that I am serving them the food by saying thank you. I have been to many many many Zaxbys across the country Zaxby Columbia is the worst ever in terms of the service.I really hope that they could do a better job in managing the ordering process and improve their service.
We Ordered 2 salads: The Blue Zalad ($8.69), The Cobb Zalad ($8.99). This was our 2nd time ordering salads here at the same location. Today the quantity of base lettuce was only 1/2 'normal'. The quantity in the bowl was barely covering the bottom. I spoke to the cashier and she was very polite and said she was not really sure of the 'normal' quantity, but would talk to the manager for me. Over 10 min later we are leaving... still no response from the manager. Manager 'finally' came to counter to hear my concern. I showed her pictures (see below) and how the lettuce barely covered the bottom. She did "not" apologize for the service or portion of lettuce. Her only comment to me was, "I will make note of that for our team." She did not offer me any type of compensation or even an apology. We have visited Zaxby's approximate 5 times in 2022. All other visits have been very pleasant and enjoyable. Including the delicious Cobb Zalad that we ordered on SUNDAY of this week (which is why we went back). Today was NOT a good experience. For a $9 salad... I would NEVER order this again based on today's order.
What a horrible restaurant. Similar to others experiences, they turned all their lights off to appear closed (and no, their lights work just fine. They shut them off early every night..) and then when you pull through the drive thru they try to ignore you. When you sit there long enough that someone finally replies to you they tell you they're "out of food." Not "out of chicken" or "out of fries" or whatever else, just "out of food."Whoever owns this franchise should be embarrassed by the slew of 1 star reviews. Location is absolutely awful..
Wait 20 mins in the drive thru (3 cars in front of me) only to be told they are done serving bone-in wings for the night...over an hour before they close. Go ahead and order fingers instead, apparently they didn't want to make those either. Took my money down the street to Rasing Canes...can't get wings there, but at least their employees are happy and know how to take care of customers during their business hours.This Zaxby's has been consistently going downhill. This isn't the first time, something like this has happened. Not sure if it's bad management or just bad hires.The Zaxby's down South are great, but Columbia SUCKS!!!!Oh well....Slim Chickens, Chick-fil-A, and Canes will get my money from here on out.
Waited in line for 25 minutes and there was only three cars in front of me. Their excuse was changing oil in the fryers. I got tired of waiting after I ordered, so I went in, and all the workers were yelling at each other. Worst fast food experience ever. Never going to a Zaxby’s ever again
Took 45 minutes to get order. There were only 2 other customers and they said it was because it was Saturday.
These employees let me stand in the lobby without help over 10 minutes. Not because they didn’t see me but I guess for the employees walking by it wasn’t their issue so they just chose to keep ignoring me. Then when my order was finally taken I’m sure I was visibly bothered by this happening that it must’ve offended the cashier because the salad I ordered was pretty sub par with barely any chicken in it. Thanks for nothing, slim chickens from now on.
