Great place, haven't been or seen one in years!! Just like I remember it was and I got a plastic cup as a souvenir to remember it by!! Columbia Missouri is the place we stopped at right off the Interstate on the northern side back behind the Quick Trip!!! This crew knew we came from CO to get our hands on some fresh Whitey's. Hooked us up with the PERFECT amount of HorseyMustard to take home with our crave case. They were slammed but handled it and made it personal. They were clean, organized, and hustled. The leadership should be proud!
We just left this White Castle. The girl that waited on us was very rude. There were a whole group of people working and yet we had to stand and wait to be waited on, when she did take our order she acted like we were inconveniencing her. After we ate we went back to order a cheese cake. The same girl just turned and looked at us, gave us a dirty look and turned away. We did not order the cheese cake because of her rudeness. Not one other person even bothered to wait on us. We bought a 10 pack and a 30 of hamburgers. We won’t be returning. Horrible experience.
My hat's off to the staff here for putting out the quality they do with the pressure they're under. I arrived at the peak of the rush and was still out the door faster than I anticipated! Great job
This is the nicest looking White Castle I've ever been in. I moved away from Michigan to a state that doesn't have them, and I'm in Columbia for a couple of days so I was happy to visit. Monday afternoon and it wasn't that busy. The place was clean and the staff was somewhat friendly. My order came out quick and accurate. I wish I was in town longer to re-visit.
My sister loved it, but it wasn't my cup if tea. However, the buns were so soft. The onion rings were crunchy and tasted great. The patties didn't look good at all and how french fries were cold and soggy. The young lady who took our order didn't sound like she wanted to be there.
Me and my boyfriend drove 2.5 hours to try White Castle for the first time and the workers there were amazing. They upgraded our meal and were just so friendly. The place was clean and even though it was slow they kept busy. We really enjoyed our time here.Thank you to the employees!
I really try not to give 1 star reviews but thos was a terrible experience. I ordered a couple of the new 1921 sliders. The wait was pretty long but that's how it goes with new items, but the payoff honestly left me concerned for my health. One of the burgers was soaking wet on the bottom, as if it had been set in a puddle of something. The tomatoes tasted like licking a circular saw blade. Completely bizarre. I have to guess that whatever apparatus was used to slice them deposited metallic residue from sharpening or something. You know when you break down a head of lettuce and you have yourself a nice pile of leaves and then a pile of junk you are going to throw away? White Castle buys that junk and serves it I guess. Granted this item contains produce heretofore unseen in the alabaster castle so we can just chalk that up to inexperience I guess. The burger party was much heartier than the sheets of paper they serve know their classic fair, but it was cooked to death. I actually wondered if I got impossible patties by mistake. However the most horrifying thing of this whole experience was the chemical taste from the burger patties. I really think it was residual grill cleaner. I'm honestly just sitting here wondering when I'm going to become ill. The only thing worse than a terrible experience is a hazardous one.
We ordered our food ahead of time. I got to the store and it wasn’t ready and I stood in the lobby for over 30 minutes waiting. Not only did it take forever the employees were rude and didn’t even wanna work.
